    Who wins?

Personally, I think Chavez is all wrong for Locche, but any other opinions?

Agreed. Chavez may miss a ton, but he'd give Locche little opportunities and room, and so would win a clear cut UD based on workrate.

    Unless it's in Argentina.

Chavez was a very accurate puncher and he was smart. He would close distance and not give Locche room to bs him. Up close had work to the body and use uppercuts and short hooks to the head. Locche, from what I have seen, has nothing offensively to trouble Chavez.

It might take Chavez some time to find him, but eventually he does and starts punishing him. Locche was a nightmare for sloppy brawlers or fighters with little stamina, and Chavez was neither of those.

I like Chavez's pressure in this one. I just don't see Locche being able to hurt Chavez or do anything to keep him off.

Chavez would look stupid at times as anyone would against Locche but he wins by UD.

If it took place on neutral ground, for the title, I think Locche would give a real effort and the fight would more than likely be a close, difficult one to score. Then again he'd probably always give a real effort against a guy like Chavez because he wouldn't have much choice. He coasted against guys he could coast against, especially if he knew he'd get the decision. Outside of his home country or against a genuinely dangerous opponent that pushed him, we saw what kind of fighter he could be against Fuji and especially Hernandez.

To beat Chavez as a defensive fighter you have to be bigger than him otherwise his pressure will win.

    Chavez UD.

Chavez was really good at catching elusive fighters, Taylor, Camacho, Lonnie Smith. I think he would outwork Locche.

I think this is a horrible style for Locche. JCC was very smart and also versatile fighter who can adjust when needed. Carlos Ortiz showed how to bear Locche by using smart pressure and distance against a great defensive fighter with limited offense. Although Locche might cause JCC some problems early on I think JCC better offense and pressure will eventually catch up to Locche, who would be forced to be fighting inside with JCC, who was a master infighter. He didn’t have much mobile footwork that the likes of Pep or Whitaker have since he was more stationary.

I’ll take JCC by late TKO.

Nicolino slips out for a smoke break after 8 rounds and doesn't come back.
