Take the version of Locche that challenged Cervantes for the LWW belt vs the version of De Jesus that did the same.

Locche was very very faded by this point but still managed to pull of some top victories.

De Jesus wouldn't be pressuring Intocable he'd be boxing with him. At a more comfortable pace would Locche succeed?

Locche's a bad matchup for DeJesus. Esteban was an excellent counter puncher who was at his best with guys coming to him. Locche would make him lead and wouldn't give him much of a target.

    Locche by comfortable UD.

I don't really know a lot about Locche, as I've only seen one or two efforts. I find him virtually unwatchable, really. The kind of fighter that beats a guy that that though, would be one to keep him busy. Not necessarily try to smother him with pressure, though that might work. Just keep the man thinking, keep him at least somewhat occupied with dealing with something other than creating his own thing. Make him react to YOU. Dejesus wasn't that kind of fighter. Besides being a counterpuncher, he was also never very busy with his hands, and you have to be throwing.

He'd just afford Locche too much room and too many opportunities to do whatever he wanted.

Eh............he had good skills certainly, not trying to deny that, but it was like a cat playing with a ball of yarn.

I really enjoyed the Fuji fight.

His defensive style was unique, he did big exaggerated movements. The opponent didn't miss by millimetres, they missed by miles.

People who name FM as the best defensive fighter are just too young to know any better. He was a great defensive fighter but he had nothing on Locche who was the greatest defensive wizard ever. FM got hit plenty throughout his career whereas Locche rarely took anything solid. De Jesus would have had the same trouble finding him as every one else. Check out the last rd in the 1st Cervantes fight for best defensive performance in the history of the sport. He hated the gym and was a chain smoker but because of his unique style which required very little movement he was always there at the end of 15 rds.

Very little foot movement but quite a lot of upper body movement.
