No problem billy I understand that you're the man in the know regarding the Scottish Boxing scene its just that you're statement that Lock Stock boxers were the No1 priority" aren't boxers No1 priority in all promotion outfits

lets just be 100% honest all promoters worry about is the money they can make off a boxer. boxers to a promoter are just a number and anyone who thinks otherwise is badly mistaken. no money for the promoter means he cant pay bills or run shows. i think that some have their boxers interest more than others but at the end of the day money talks!

Brilliant news for the Scottish scene.

Coupled with the MGM outfit running regular shows it can only be a good thing. Let's hope the likes of McFadden, Ham and co live upto early potential and make waves on the British / Euro levels.

hi mate, i see that three of the seven boxers announced are managed by you. does that mean that although willie will be the face of the promotion that you are heavily involved too?

i also fail to see the boxers that are sought after there as you claimed, i was expecting a bigger name that was going to make a statement but they are all novice fighters. i was thinking that they had maybe pull out your star boxer david brophy who is on the cusp of fighting for titles or an ex champ like john simpson.

any new names in promoting are big plus in scotland and i look forward to seeing the promotions and to see if you can grow your stable and bring titles to lock stock promotions.

could you please give a little more insight as to why you think its a decent little stable? i am involved in the scottish boxing scene and struggle to see any stars they have signed but id love to hear your thoughts? here is mine

Lewis Ritson: I've heard from lads in newcastle area that he could be decent and with billy helping him could be good. star of the stable

Jason Easton: decent boxer but can be hurt an has been knocked cold on more than 1 occasion from low level boxers

Mohammad Babazadeh: can't sell tickets and although dangerous will be kept away from the best up and coming prospects because he brings nothing to table.

Kieron Smith: good amateur style but not sure if his sitting on the ropes style will get him many fans or titles in the pro game

Scott Allan: very overrated around scotland and looks chunky for the weight like he enjoys body beautiful instead of whats needed to make it as a boxer. won't win anything imo

    Stephen McAuslin
    Stevan Sanderson

never even heard of the last 2.

compare that with someone like Steve Goodwins stable. its very decent.

every promotion has to start somewhere and if these lads have success it will continue to grow.

With respect Lewis Ritson is far better than decent, I would be sorely disappointed if this lad doesn't win a minimum of euro title, he would beat any Scottish LW right now imo
