in truth a lot of journalist simply pick your brain to make up an article, how can dafty possibly pass comment on Mohammed when he's not even seen him?
Are you saying you cannot learn anything from someone unless they have an intricate knowledge of being a boxing coach? Is it any wonder there were some serious rumours about your fitness methods doing the rounds? Too arrogant to listen to others it would seem.
i agree about that though. people shouldn't pass judgement on boxers/people unless they have seen or know them personally.
being your own boss you need to make decision and I believe the vast majority I make are correct after all 6 defeats in 133 isn't bad is it, 5 of thoses losses were for some form of title My fighters are amongst. The fittest in the country so please please please stop bleat hearing ****e about my gym
6 defeats in 133? I'd wager a lot of money that more than half of those wins were where you boxers were fighting absolute nobodies with losing records. Fittest? Really? I seem to remember a physically drained Burns being made to look like an amateur vs Crawford. He had nothing left in the tank that day.
Don't talk rubbish pal if he wasn't as fit as he was he'd have lost to Gonzalez, with regards to Crawford I wouldn't say that was Ricky's most physically demanding fight, however talent wise it most certainly was
Best lightweight in Scotland?? Surely not? Is he better than Ricky now?? What about the next big thing Ally Black?? Joking aside Charlie Flynn will fight at lightweight surely that Is a fight that can be made?? Title fight is Scott Allan v Jamie Wilson what a fight.. Who do I support known Scott since he was knee height to a grasshopper ( I know he is a little bigger than that now ha).. Or Jamie who from right here and is a top lad sore one
dont think Charlie will be a lightweight, as I've always said to fighter you will get out the sport what you put in it, if you don't train/run properly you WILL get beat by guys who shouldn't beat you, because your cheating YOURSELF. Scott v Jamie will be a great wee fight and delighted to have it on the first promotion
No problems, don't really follow Scottish boxing and I just knew that Taylor was a LW in the amateurs which is ~2.5lb lighter than LW in the pros so I assumed he would be at that weight. Just saw on Boxrec there that he was 142lb for his debut - Shane McGuigan has been bulking him up I assume Good Luck
Josh Taylor was boxing at 64kg as an amateur which is Light Welterweight. He is pretty tall but if his debut was at 142lb then it's not unreasonable for him to weigh in day before at 135lbs? Josh would be a massive Lightweight if Shane can safely get him there!
