Pavlik won't blow this. It wouldn't surprise me if Kelly was forced to a knee early, but he'll do damage to Lockett he's never had to deal with before. Yuri Tsarenko is no prep for Pavlik. See Kelly drop Gary for good anytime before the end of the sixth round.
You're definitely gonna be laughing after Pavlik makes Gary crap himself on international television.
Would be great if he pulled it off but realistically he has just a punchers chance. If Pavlik wins this then I wouldn't be surprised to see Calzaghe v Pavlik at 168 in November.
The Euro's are saying that Lockett only has a puncher's chance, that's what they are saying, but they really believe he has a very good chance. Their reasoning for the "Lockett doesn't have much of a chance" front, is to set up they're post fight analysis. I can just hear them now, "Kelly struggled against Lockett, he has no chance against Calzaghe". If they down play their guy, anything but a total domination and/or early viscous KO, they will use to discredit Pavlik. Don't mistaken their true motive. This is the same reason they say they think so highly of Kessler, they really don't, but by making him sound so good, it only makes their guy look that much better. You gotta watch those Euro's.
WRONG We all know Lockett has sloppy technique, isn't that fast, and is wide open for shots. He can dig a bit though; hence, a punchers chance.:deal
