Apparently this is happening on June 7th according to BBC website page.

Personally i think this is a total mismatch, although Lockett is having a warm up fight with Darren Rhodes 1st, so that should give him a real chance against Pavlik:patsch

Its going to be a massacre win for Kelly

Hopefully it wont scare Abraham away for good

Great opportunity for Lockett but I can not see him getting the win. Hopefully he will prove everyone wrong.

The fight on the 22nd will not be happening. I give him a chance Pavliks chin is not granit and Lockett can punch!

I think Pavlik will beat him by been too big and too strong- but Lockett is underrated and can punch very hard. He's got about the same shot as Lueshing against trinidad a few years back.

I think Duddy with a cut would have a better chance, or even Macklin. Lockett is sh*t.
    Rubbish fight. :patsch

His knockouts of Kevin Kelly, Jason Collins, Gilbert Eastman and Hussain Osman suggest he's a serious puncher. as Does his amateur record.

He's barely a puncher at British level, the best opponents he's stopped are Gilbert Eastman who had been stopped twice before, and Blundell who had been stopped 4 times before... it's hardly impressive is it?

We've got a Brit fighting for the middleweight title... and it's Lockett. I think it's a real shame.

Yeh, he punched his nose and Kelly gave up. But I'm talking about half decent fighters - he wasn't even British level, he lost 4 fights in Australia... not many people do that.

    There's nothing on Lockett's record that 1. shows he's any good. and 2. shows he's a puncher.

21 ko's from 31 fights including decent wins over Ryan Rhodes, Kevin Kelley, Hussain Osman, Gilbert Eastman and Lee Blundell. Kelly had beaten Sam Soliman, floored and lasted the distance with Dave Reid in a world title challenge and been robbed against Chris Pyatt fir the Commonwealth title.

Lockett is a pretty decent middleweight. He has a good punch and fairly good skill and some good wins on his record.

We have a fairly strong middle weight division right now, maybe no world beaters but some good guys. Lockett, Elcock, Macklin and Barker are all very capable and while Eastmans career is on the slide he can still put in a good tough performance. Im glad Lockett has got this chance.

Lockett was a bit mis-managed a few years ago and as a result he never really fulfilled the potential he clearly had but this bout is an opportunity for him to get right to the top and become a big name in boxing overnight.

Dont get me wrong, only a fool would not have Pav as the favourite but Lockett is also a fighter who can bang with both hands and Pavlik isnt the hardest guy to hit so who knows ......
