    Ward needed 3 fights or at least a year to settle into the new weight before he would go anywhere near Kovalev or a LHW of that calibre.

    Hunter couldn't be anymore adamant it. You can see he even is angered by the suggestion that Ward would face Kovalev before he's had time to acclimatize and settle at the new weight.

    In Sept, 2015 Hunter said Ward needs that period of time to settle into the weight class before they'll take on Kovalev (''over a year'') and low and behold, just as Hunter said it was going to go down, that's exactly how it played out. :deal

    We've lost so many good posters from this forum.

    It's such a shame.

    The Mods are great here, but they've got to act now otherwise numbers will continue to drop.

    There's trolls and idiots on every forum on the Internet. But I've never experienced anything like this before.


    PM the mods like I've done. And I urge everyone to do the same. Let's get rid of this turd once and for all so we can all go back to having great debates.

    I can assure everyone that I've got a great sense of humour and I can accept there's going to be trolls, but this has just gone too far now.

    It's becoming tiresome logging on instead of it being fun like it used to be.

    but ignore ggg saying brooks too small

    or sanchez saying they never said 164 even though its all over the internet....lol

    kovalev took the tougher interim fight...suggesting he needed the work to prepare for ward more than ward needs a sharpening tuneup for him!

    brand isnt a tuneup for kova...its a sparring session he forced hbo to pay him for

    paul smith wasnt a tunneup for kovalev as he wasnt slated to face him and was actually chasing golovkin at that point...ward weighed 171 in the smith fight in case he could come back to 168 for a ggg fight
