Plus ward would have had to make 168 to fight ggg as opposed to the 175 for Barrera so he prob wouldn't have put all of that back on

I guess u guys forgot the part where cotto has moved through weight classes and has nothing left to prove at age 34 ..., he had had a HoF career taking on plenty of good fighters and challenges

I'm sick of all the ducking from BJS/Jacob/Canelo. I just want Golovkin to get in with a good opponent so we can judge how good he actually is. He looks near-unbeatable at 160, but until he fights more decent opponents we'll never know for sure.

I'd be rooting for him against any 168 fighter, and now that Ward has gone to 175 I think he can beat anyone at 168. But he's got to be brave and try to get some good opponents before he's too old imo.

 

Cotto's carer has been established...great resume win or lose ...established as a top earner in the sport ...HoF career and resume

If Cotto was 34 and had the same carer as ggg (thr equivalent would be fighting Gianluca Branco 34 times in a row) I wouldn't give him a pass

Cotto's career takes a dump on gggs......ggg is the one with something to prove
