fights arent made on twitter....but if a guy like lara calls someone out on twitter you can guarantee the other guy gets wind of it...lara could call...he could talk to the media....he could do whatever.....but if the other side pretends to not listen then it wont matter...if the other guy lets it fall on deaf ears it doesnt matter.....

and lets be real....golovkin is given carte blanche to let anything fall on deaf ears if he wants to....no one holds him accountable for anything....because hes the "savior"

rumors circulate that he turned down 10 mil for the fight of his life that could launch him to superstardom and dudes are like "ya ggg you go boy you tell em...that aint enough"

There is some serious collusion going on here between these MW's against Golovkin. Jacobs is just wasting Golovkin's time, keeping him out of the ring and costing him money. All these contenders are trying to stall Golovkin and hope father time does what they are currently incapable of.

The fact that Lara's management openly admit that Lara is staying at 154 and that they've not even attempted to contact K2 proves Golovkin is correct to ignore Lara's twitter "call outs".

The fact that people are clinging to Lara as some sort of bogeyman is laughable.

Is Lara an excellent boxer? Of course he is but whilst you are deriding Golovkin's opposition, he has yet to go life and death with a fighter of "el Perro" and Lara's 1 standout opponent dropped his belt rather than fight GGG.

Since his loss to Canelo he's fought Smith, Zaveck, Vanes and Rodriguez. Hardly a murderers row is it?

Yeah.. and how much did Oscar make? 60 mil, so don't tell me that isn't small money. Floyd was far more proven as a ppv fighter at the time than GGG is now... and Canelo is EASILY the A side here.

Look, I'm not saying it' s right... I'm just sayin, that if Golovin REALLY wants a big fight, he is gonna have to concede. In a rematch he stands to make huge money.

He's the A-side, but he's no Pac or Floyd at their peak. 200K for the Smith fight.

GGG is universally recognized as the Undisputed Middleweight Champion of the World
Canelo is the coward that meekly handed over his bogus middleweight trinket to GGG because he knew if he fought him GGG would destroy him
How the hell can you SERIOUSLY make a coward like Canelo the A side ? When you claim a champion has to concede $$$ to his unworthy challenger You cannot be a REAL boxing fan

laras management has said theyll stay at 154 UNLESS golovkin wants to fight...kind of how like golovkin stays at 160 UNLESS froch or chavez wanna fight.....

lara could call or email k2...but weve seen how that went for andre ward...theyll ignore him and tell him they arent interested......theyve already denounced lara as an opponent even though hed make a good one

you people keep trying to prove lara provides no challenge through resume and results.....thats not a good look for golovkin fans....he as good of an opponent as anyone on golovkins resume ever was...thats just fact of the matter...so spare telling me how lara did against so and so....hes as good of a challenge as anyone on golovkins resume...plain and simple....and hes been on tv more than any of golovkins opponents

The money split in boxing has never, ever had anything to do with who is tougher or braver... it's always been about popularity...belts don't even matter. You sound like an ignorant fool. Everybody knows Canelo is the A side. You're not that bright if you cant see that.

Look, I am no Canelo fan, but when we talk strictly numbers (because THAT is what gets fights signed) Canelo is by far the bigger name and can dictate.

Dont try and come at me with this belt/ champion bullcrap, you KNOW it is meaningless. $$ is everything so lets stop pretending these guys fight for honour... REGARDLESS of what the fighters say.

Totally agree. No one will ever be a Floyd or even Pac again. But Canelos WORST PPV vs Golovkins BEST is still lopsided. GGG vs Lemieux had the potential for fireworks....yet it was a dud. No one had ever even heard of Liam.

Golovkin should have sucked it up, took short money and beat Canelo. He is damn near 35 years old. In boxing, that is old.

Nobody will ever be Floyd or Pac again?? come on man. You bee watching boxing for about five years right?

Robinson, Ali, Leonard, Tyson, DLH, Floyd, Pac - always someone huge emerges and there are plenty of supporting stars around them.

If by some grace of god Canelo is able to defeat GGG he will move into a massive PPV star. Hell, i guarantee you that would draw out Floyd for his 51st fight (after defeating Pac again for 50) and the MW title because there would be SOOO much money on the line.
If GGG wins as expected he'll sell big shows vs Jacobs, Saunders, Chavez Jr and Gilberto Ramirez. They'll be begging for the payday.

That's exactly what has ruined boxing $$$$$$$$$ I'm of the old school The champion should be the Best fighter in his division Anyone that wants to challenge him can do so. Trouble started with Mayweather over 10 years ago HE was NOT the best man he was the CHOSEN one. He was never allowed to lose he was Vegas cash cow. In all honestly he had several losses but corruption saved his bogus 0. GGG would annihilate Canelo No one knows that more than Pollo & Black Fishnets

Two entirely different levels of fighters. Not to mention that Oscar received 52 mil.

Young hungry lion??? He may have been young and hungry but he didn't have a lion's bone in no part of his body. Maybe a young hungry lamb is a better phrase for him.
