This is becoming a little bit of a pattern now, Burnett, now Yafai.

It's starting to make me wonder if Team Parker are actually telling the truth about the AJ negotiations.

Really poor from Hearn, you can't defend it.

Are people not being a bit harsh on Burnett?

I mean he's just had one unification fight already as soon as he won his title and didn't he get taken to hospital after his last fight?

I'm pretty sure the fight will eventually get made.

Doesn't matter, he's a unified champion. He should not be ducking Tete for a full undisputed fight because, in Hearn's words, it's a risky fight. Vacate the belts if you're not ready. Don't act like there are mega money fights elsewhere in the division for him. Stone cold duck.

I agree he should fight him, but it doesn't mean it has to be his next fight, it should ideally be either his next fight but if not then certainly the one after.

It's just amazing people skip over other fighters getting a pass not unifying or fighting other champions and do it over many fights.

There can't really be any excuses with Yafai though, he's had atleast 2 fights now since he won his belt, time to fight one of the other champions.
