"We’re not concerned about Bernard Hopkins running around the ring and moving and showing how slick he is. We’re prepared for that too. We’re not dumb enough to just walk straight at him and throw one-twos down the middle. We know what a great fighter he is. So, we’ve got a whole lot more plans for Bernard Hopkins than they realize. So, if they’re thinking that we’re one dimensional, that’s great for them."

But heres another question.. what do you think will happen when they find out Hopkins is a tough hard man who will not fold no matter what?

There's not too much to this particular insult. Hopkins has faked falling out of a ring before. I'll assume everyone who makes a reference like this hasn't seen very much of Bernard Hopkins. Somehow anyway Calzaghe getting schooled seems worse to people than Hopkins putting on his theatre tricks.

I don't like that. Pavlik should fight how he normally fights. If he thinks too much, it could be dangerous (IMO)

Whocares, it was an illegal blow. Sure it didn't hit him flush on the pills like he made it out to be but it was an illegal blow and he used it to his advantage. Calzaghe made a mistake by hitting below the belt and Hopkins took the allowed time.

Personally, I'm not sure what to make of these comments by Team Pavlik.

Most fans are neither tactically minded nor tactically intelligent. We do have some strong people though mixed in. Anyone have any idea what Team Pavlik keeps talking about with all this clever business, or is it all just a bluff?

Don't know, I'm really looking forward to see their plans in the ring, as well as Hopkins' plans.
But I believe Pavlik is not silly enough to just go straight at the man, only throwing one-two combos.

The one thing I've heard Pavlik refer to looking at some interviews on youtube is their alleged intention to focus on the body. Pavlik said "there will be no head hunting." Loew and Pavlik sound extremely self assured about this all - I'm right with you on looking forward to what we actually get, C. Team Pavlik is playing brilliant poker at this point if they're just bluffing. They claim to have an answer for everything, and then some.

he basically folded against joe, claiming low blows, limping across the ring, the tried to fake another low blow but cortez caught that bull**** and send him to fight, so my friend pavlik got a better chance than joe to make him quit.

Actually, the first thing that came to mind when I saw Loew's claims, is Pavlik will try to give Bernard more angles than he will expect, and yes why not work the body. That's what I meant by saying "not the usual one-two combos".
But I guess we'll have to see the fight, to find out ;)
