Loew: "No more fights for Pavlik above 160 lbs"

I'm pretty sure this fight is planned for next, first Abraham fights Marquez and Pavlik goes for Rubio then both meet after it depending on how they perform.

 

Calzaghe wasn't the one who started all the talk, it was Pavlik's team that demanded that fight and were going after it.

They can blame they weight if they want, they are probably right, but a middlweight Bernard Hopkins would still beat Kelly Pavlik.

 

this is true....the only positive for pavlik was that his chin held up against a b-hop weighing 175-180

 

Do you think Pavlic can beat chad dawson at 175 ? At this point I would keep Pavlic away from Bute seeing that Pavlic has problem with fighter moving to there right.

fighter like dawson would give Pavlic the business , since both of these fighter are very mobile southpaws with fast hands that like to move and counter.

 

Pavlik is a ****ing *****. He's 6'2" ffs. He more than has the frame to be compete at 168 and possibly 175. Fact is he's a rubbish fighter. I'd more than accept if he said he wasn't going up to 175, but 168 he has fights with Kessler, Bute, possibly even Calzaghe etc. He can't accept that they will all beat him. Abraham aswell, he knows he will no longer be able to make 160, so he's sticking there, where he can defend his belts against pointless fighters like Rubio.
