No, not at all. He made much more money off the dlh fight. If floyd didnt give dlh a rematch he definately wouldnt give hatton a rematch. It would be pointless he would jus ko him again and everyone would criticise him for doin so.

Your a clown and a bigger clown believing the Sun (what interest would Chinese folks have in Hatton cause that's the way their spinning it)

Also, I read on another boxing board how a friend of someone in Shanghai had trouble finding/getting the fight:patsch

No one wants to see a Mayweather/Oscar rematch. What's the point? It'll be the same thing all over again.

Oscar/Cotto or Mayweather/Cotto is all I'm looking for.

lol @ Floyd not giving Oscar a rematch. It was the other way around, Oscar didn't want a rematch, Floyd always said he was open to one. Oscar would rather just promote Floyd fighting his own fighters and make his money that way without having to get back in the ring with him.

I dont believe those numbers for a second. I travel over there regularly and the last sport the Chinese care about is boxing. Its mostly basketball, soccer and badminton over there. And I have searched far and wide for bars that show PPV and boxing but they all look at me weird when I mention it. Id be surprised if there were 15 boxing gyms in the entire country.

Plus over there, boxing is more like Muhammed Ali or Mike Tyson not small welterweights.

mayweather is the big draw, he doesnt need hatton.a fight with cotto would get more attention than a fight with an opponent he just manhandled. mayweather hatton II wont happen

I don't know about that. Generally Japan is the same way when it comes to non-Japanese boxers, but there were quite a few bars around Tokyo showing the Mayweather/Hatton fight.

As for China, 50 million people over there is nothing when the population is well over a billion. Not the same as having 50 million in America watching a sporting event.
