****ing robbery, my ass. THE PRIDE OF BOLTON got dished about by Peterson and started whining like a little ***** crying robbery in DC. Maybe this'll teach you to stop looking past people and stop thinking you're ****ing Pacquiao when you get hit flush. Stop talking about Mayweather and start paying attention, *****.
A) He's a fighter. He went to a challengers hometown and lost. I've heard he has since given Peterson props, but it's not unusual for someone to be unhappy they lost a close fight because of refereeing decisions. B) He didn't get slapped around. It was a close fight that could have gone either way. C) He didn't look past anyone. When asked who he would like to fight, he did the same thing anyone would, he mentioned Mayweather and Pacquiao. He turned up in great condition and had a competitive fight with a good contender/now champion. D) Khan should be getting credit for being willing to travel, fight the best and risk losing. It seems like 10 minutes ago people were laughing at him because of his chin, now he's getting criticized for proving it "too much"? **** me what a pedantic bunch we all are.
I totally respect Khan for that fight. It was an awesome fight. That said, so glad he lost. It's always great when he gets taken down a peg. And what? I never said Khan would beat Floyd, did I? Must be gettin' me mistaken, fella.
Some of you people are hilarious in your hate, and fickle as ****. Khan lost a close fight in a fighters hometown and suddenly he's an overrated bum that got what he deserved? He put on a great fan friendly fight, probably his second FOTY in a row, and gave the people their moneys worth. I don't necessarily agree with his post fight opinions, but I can see why he might be a little pissed off, that last point deduction was frankly bull****. Khan improves from this and beats Lamont convincingly in a rematch, this is only a minor speed bump.
It was a great fight I don't have a bad word to say about both fighters Khan will learn from this and hopefully work on his inside game, he will come again no doubt
Oh good. :good Khan Defence League. :yep You're the only hater around here, Laz. I like Khan, I just wanted to see him lose because he deserves to be taken down a peg, I respect him and I loved the fight. I'm not being serious, just exaggerating.
Nice to hear a voice of reason. Khan would have likely won without the deductions and for that he has no one to blame but himself. The ref was much more involved than any I've seen in recent memory, but that's part of the game. I'm not sure who wins in a rematch. I think the blueprint to beat Khan is there ... pressure the hell out of him and get him against the ropes. He should probably stay away from Brandon Rios, but Amir will likely make adjustments and learn from this fight.
