Did you really think that the strategy of simply eating punches wouldn't hurt him sooner or later. His chin was never going to hold up for his whole career.

Haha..this is a fun thread. Must have made a good thread title. Like I said I honestly don't believe it. Perhaps it was real. Maybe the body shots wore Marg down, maybe the fight with Cotto wore him down, all the WRESTLING Mosley did might have wore him down, but just didn't see the KO.
If it was congrats to Mosley.

Surely there should be some quality control on these threads. These idiots should not be allowed to post.

I'm a fan a both men, and I'm not gonna agree that this fight was fixed, but I do have to say. Something was not right. Margarito not throwing punches?? I just don't know ...

Becuase he was never in position to do so. Early on he got caught reaching and got countered....hard. He needs his feet set to throw and shane wouldn't let that happen, and when he got inside he got tied up

Nothing wrong with Margarito, shane was just by far the better fighter.

I was dead wrong about this fight, as was about 3/4 of everyone here but that was as big an ass whooping you will ever see.

That's because Cotto was ridiculously overrated. And then Margarito got overrated because of his win over him.

Exactly what I'm saying! Thank god somebody on here with some sense makes an appearance...:nut
Marg did nothing! He didn't throw punches, he actually backed up (without being hurt), he let Mosley grab him at will (without trying to push him off), he actually gets KO in this fight to nothing special IMO (whenever you had Cotto blasting him in the face with a sledgehammer, his neck snapping back, and he smiles, and walks forward).
This is the same guy with the iron chin, legendary stamina, and throws 100 punches per rounds? It's not like it's the first time Margarito has been hit to the body, the first time he fought a faster man (almost everybody is faster), or one that could circle around.

Uhh...Cotto was overrated? Cotto beat....Mosley. Even if you didn't agree he beat Mosley (draw, or whatever) then you'd have to agree it was a close fight.
