i was watching it on tv and the referee was kinda acting all so righteous and holy.

the look on his face clearly indicated that he was not treating the brown boy fairly. There was clearly confusion right after the KO and you can see on concepcions face that it was not intentional.

you want to see intentional, check out MAB hit on pac during a clinch and the referee separating them when out of nowhere, wham. that is clearly a sucker punch.

in any case, this controversy will help concepcion gain more media coverage. i just hope luevano engages more in the rematch. no he knows that abe can KO him,

Jay Nady damn near choked the kid after the late hit. After all, it was Nady's JOB to break the fighters in case of fouls, knockdowns, and at the end of each round. He has screwed over too many fighters by a possible bias or not being where he needed to be.
Honestly, I picked Luevano to counter beautifully all night and possibly KO Concepcion. After the first 2 rounds, he fought scared, flicking over 200 jabs everytime Abe got too close to him. That fight was well on its way to becoming a total stinker because of it.
