yep, no one has ever beaten someone with a better resume before. if that were the case, no titles would change hands.

I'm a Golovkin fan, I think he's great for the sport but he has done nothing to make anyone think he should be so heavily favoured to beat the proven veteran in Froch. Not saying he couldn't win but it's a huge leap of faith to think he'll dominate Froch when Golovkin has never faced anyone anywhere near as good as Froch.

Froch has already beaten one hyped up puncher from middleweight in AA, who's to say Froch couldn't derail the Golovkin train. For all Golovkin's power, in Froch he maybe up against a fighter that could take all his best shots and walk through them, Froch's chin is pure granite.

It's a fight I'd love to see made. The immovable object in Froch vs the irresistible force in Golovkin.

After 10 "world title defenses", GGG's ledger makes Sven Ottke and Dariusz Michalczewski look like they took on a murders row

Isn't it very interesting how GGG fans parallel Bute fans?

I mean when Bute fought and defeated MaGee his fans immediately had Bute KO'ing Froch, Ward and Kessler in the same night, and this is due to a win over someone like MaGee and a decision win against an old and worn Glen Johnson.

This is very funny especially since GGG doesn't even have a quality win against a name like an old Glen Johnson on his resume.
Like Bute, GGG and Kovalev have stayed far away from facing and fighting any real named opponents while crying to fight an elite.
My guess is that one day both will get what they have been whining for and following that, their names will occupy the same space Bute currently finds himself in. :yep

Froch stops Golovkin before the 5th. That fight will never happen though

I dont doubt GGG has talent but he hasn't fought anyone near the level of Froch. I'm not saying Froch would win but I would really like to see GGG in with some better opposition. I mean Macklin is probably the best name on his resume and he isn't exactly top class. Not hatin, just giving my opinion.

I don't think Froch was sarcastic. At least Eddie Hern considers GGG as a more difficult opponent compared to Groves and Chavez Jr. at 5:20.
