For starters their teqnique is nothing alike. Tyson used speed and head movement along with an excellent jab to work his way in on taller opponents. He landed fast text book punches and was not easy to hit back. Edwin Valero on the other hand is just a wild swinger who has a padded record knocking out easy opposition. He swings with no teqnique wide punches and will be outboxed as soon as he steps up his competition
Every fighter beats on some bums early on. HOwever anyone who knows anything about boxing can see the glaring differences in both style and talent
yea... tyson looks a lot better throwing power shots but in the end they both get the job done. Valero i think for his division has more power than tyson had for his. Valero's power is fearsome. The kind of power that makes fighters lose based on fear alone... similar to tyson.
who ever made that comparison is surely delusional and knows no **** in boxing. Tyson was almost a complete fighter during his prime.
