Fight seemed fixed, I hardly ever say that but this fight seriously stinks.

"Lerena looked worried when Dubois was down in round 1"

That's why Lerena kept advancing after the first KD and had Dubois down another 2x in that round. That's also why he kept advancing in round 2 and backed Dubois up (which from the way round 1 had gone, was likely sufficient to get Dubois to fall over again without risk) and landed 7 punches in that round according to the live stats. All I can say is watch round 2 again.

@MismatchHypejob is a fan of a low IQ ex-pat Polish Youtuber who claims that pretty much every fight is fixed, mirroring his conspiratorial view of politics. He especially likes to allege a fix whenever an Eastern European fighter is defeated. GGG, Loma, Usyk and the Klitschko's never benefitted from such insidious and apparently omnipresent practices of course ;)

I know who are you talking about but I don’t agree with a lot of what that guy says politically and about fixed fights.

KLItschko is a safety first fraud who should have multiple DQs. When exactly do I claim a fix when an Eastern European fighter is defeated ? you are a disingenuous fool. I don’t give a damn about pathetic ideals of nationality and all that bullocks. I just want legitimate fair prime for prime fights. Not corruption and being misled.

I claim many of Canelo’s fight are fixed because it’s so blatant and you’ve got to be a flat out idiot not to see the glaringly obvious indicators over and over.

Let’s not talk about mirroring. You’re the sheep here. You’re a kid who can’t come to grips with the fact you’re being fooled by a multimillion pound industry. It’s hilarious to watch you desperately and pathetically defend it

MismatchHypejob: "I don’t agree with a lot of what that guy says politically and about fixed fights."

Also MismatchHypejob: *Has approvingly linked his Eastern Bloc nationalist conspiracy videos in the past, continues to parrot everything he says about fixed fights*

"When exactly do I claim a fix when an Eastern European fighter is defeated?"

Loma-Lopez "robbery". Golovkin. Kovalev. Bivol, you claimed it was fixed for Canelo:

"Bivol does not have a chance because the fight is fixed. It will be a spar mark my words."

Is there a mea culpa for this? Probably not.

And if you were wrong about that fight being fixed, maybe you're wrong about the others too.

You've alleged that Shakur, Haney, Wardley, Dubois, Crawford and Wilder have had fixed fights (I'm missing others no doubt). And you've shown antagonism towards respected member @Pimp C in the past. It all seems pretty suspect to me.

"It’s hilarious to watch you desperately and pathetically defend it"

You know what's even funnier? Someone who alleges that boxing is as fake as WWE, claims not to be happy about it but still religiously watches and posts about it!

Dubois is still young, only just 25, he still has years to improve.

Dubois is as fragile as they come. He's packing glass and everyone with a pair of eyes should be able to see he's a brutal KO waiting to happen, nothing more.

This fight made WWE footage look like legit fighting in comparison. Fixed fight all the way.

I disagree with you. His punch resistance will improve, the more times he gets hit in the side of the head!

Would like to know if any big in play money piled on Dubois end of round one. His in play odds must have been massive after three kd's so if that happened it was likely a fix.

Lerena's promoter says they have lodged an appeal to the WBA. Not impressed with the officiating. Stops just short of calling it outright corruption and a fix.

The wba need to clarify whether their own 3 kd rule applies when they are the sanctioning body of a supposed title fight. It should be changed to an NC if so. This is aside from the biased stoppage and 12 second early bell in round one. Lerena was entitled to 60 seconds on his stool - much like Wilder Ortiz 1 when Wilder got 60 secs plus a doctor inspection after being badly hurt by Ortiz.

I didn't want to comment directly on the fight until I had a chance to watch it. After catching it on Dailymotion, honestly, I'm not sure I've ever seen anything like it. They shortened the first round when the home fighter was in trouble, and ignored the bell when he was on top. Whether or not these were deliberate actions, you can't be messing around like that in a supposed world title fight. I don't see how this could be anything but an NC.

Warren has a brasser neck than Hearn otherwise.
