Yes, Hatton agreed to it, gave Floyd some problems, and then got KTFO. I NEVER SAID ANY OF THIS ISN'T TRUE! I just said that win doesn't prove anything about Floyd at Welterweight. Imagine how Margo or Williams vs Hatton would look like ffs!

As far as Margo, the "guys that already beat him"... IS Williams (I don't see Margo moving up in weight just to fight Santos, and frankly having lost once to Santos on cuts doesn't smear the guys record much for me). I'd like very much to see him vs Williams again, and there's no reason to believe that fight will never happen just cause it didn't happen right after the Cotto fight.

Oh, and I guess we disagree about PBF's retirement, so I'm giving that a rest ;)

Exactly.....................Floyd did his rematch when people thought he lost. Real champions fight rematches. I look at Shane Mosley. He fought rematches with 2 guys IN HIS PRIME and lost. He even gave a rematch to Dlh.

It would look totally different because those guys are big at Welterweight, then again his opponent was Mayweather and Mayweather is a former 130lb fighter, so there wasn't any serious advantage or difference in size there. Two already small guys fighting each other, if it was Margarito or Williams then sure I'll say that fight will be one-sided in one area.

Of course there's a reason to fight Santos, what more reason does he want other than the guy BEAT HIM, it doesn't get worse than that to encourage him to rematch him. I'm judging Margarito based on the hype the majority of his fans seem to spread about him wanting to fight anyone/anytime/anywhere. If a man that already beat him isn't worthy of a fight then I don't know who is. If he's the legacy seeking mammoth who will fight for "peanuts" as they promote him then why not attempt to avenge at least ONE loss, he never had any attempts against any of those. As far as I know Rodney Jones(who beat him when he was 14) was still active and had a fight in 2007. If it was Mayweather in this situation then this would have THREADS dedicated to it, why didn't they attempt to fight that guy as well?, because he was 14 years old before and now when he's older it's pointless and he knows he would beat him?, nonsense.

Regarding Williams, that fight should definitely be made but all facts are against it. Margarito is booked to have a decent fight early next year with a rematch against Cotto coming up mid next year. Meaning that's half of next year already planned with no mention of Williams at all. I think it's very obvious why Margarito was considered the most feared man, it's because his popularity and what he offered is what fighters didn't bother to go through for, he offered NOTHING back then. Notice how all of a sudden EVERYONE is calling out Margarito after he beat Cotto?, when you get a solid victory and start to become a big name that's when fighters will be attracted. Those guys fear nothing but want something worth fighting for and back when Margarito was being called the most feared man on the planet he offered no proof to that statement at all. As much as it's a sport it's also a business, I'm sure you know that.

    It's obvious ;)

Again, it's obvious the haters' cries bother you, that's why all of your posts sound like you're defending PBF passionately. I don't blame you though, PBF has taken a lot of heat.

We can only hope this fight will happen sometime.

By who??? Don't tell me you believed that HBO ****?

More like Arum ****, HBO is only picking it up now that Margarito beat Cotto. That **** was started long ago when Mayweather made his move to Welterweight. Previously the man holding that title was Vivian Harris.

AM became feared when Floyd ducked him. That talk disappeared when Williams beat him, the light was dim when Clottey roughed him up and busted him up, and the light came back after AM beat Cotto because Dlh then ducked him. I'ts like an "on" and "off" switch lol...:blood

Very easy to press too.
The hype switched from Margarito to Cotto the same night Williams beat him. Of course, a lot of hype was on Williams too so both those two were most feared men on earth till Williams lost to Quintana and Cotto to Margarito. Now we're back to step 1(more like 2 if you want to count Vivian Harris).

I like AM, Williams and Floyd. Cotto is ok with me, but he has the most to prove.

Yes, it will be very interesting to see how (and if) he regroups after his huge loss at the hands of Margo. Hope he does though, i really like his style and I think if he improves certain aspects of his game, he will do great at 147. He has the potential to be great.
If it wasn't for that Margo brick-wall chin @#$*@$*#@$#@ :fire

Floys daid to margarito in that you tube video: "You get your shot you get your shot, it will be bigger in the future." handshaked on the deal too.

Fight would be huge now. Mexico and Mexicans in USA would back Margarito like Chavez. Fight won't ever happen though.

If Floyd turned pro at 15 and got thrown in the fire as the "opponent" wonder how many losses he'd have. The past doesn't really matter. Now is what matters. Look how many losses Monzon and Jack Johnson had early on. Margarito is the best now. Floyd apparently agrees.
