It's also pretty obvious and clear that all the "Most feared man" hype was complete rubbish. It was more that others had way better options than an unproven fighter in Margarito who is looking to get a major pay-day after accomplishing nothing. Now that he beat Cotto and he's a big-name I see almost everyone calling him out, why?, because NOW it's worth fighting him. Pretty much the same position Mayweather was in moving up, others would call him out even though they have accomplished nothing(Harris and Margarito specifically) and he'll definitely turn them down for far better options and guys who actually offer something or have major wins. All this Mayweather ducking was known to be pure bull**** from the start anyway and it was only a matter of time for Margarito to be in the same position and now that he is it's crystal clear.

Actually....I've only seen two people call AM out since that win....that was Santos and Paul Williams, the two guys that beat him. Who else called him out...definitley not DLH.

That's probably why he called out Hoya, he wants to build his legacy.

 I gotta say I agree with your opinion there

But then again, wasn't PBF's win over DLH a big win for his legacy :think ?

It was a good win for his legacy. It made him a 5 division champ. How many can say they've done that? The fact that he moved up to face a bigger man helped his cause as well. If Margo moved up and beat Forrest, or even Santos, he would get a lot of props. Beating Oscar at this point does very little for him besides fattening his bank account.

Baldomir is a former undisputed champion in the division, Judah/Clottey winner was planned to be Margarito's next opponent, remember?, why is it funny now?, it's not like Judah was knocked cold in his loss against Clottey. Mayorga is set to fight Mosley next and since Margarito is looking for a tune-up type of fighter next as already announced then Mayorga, depending how he performs against Mosley is a decent one, so is Baldomir.

Mayweather is a former 130lber who wasn't even supposed to be at 147 and the fight at 154 was his very first, major difference here from Margarito who already fought there and has the size advantage over DLH if the fight was made even at 154.

Agreeing to move to 154 for DLH to get a major payday but not Santos who beat him proves you wrong.

    I loled at this.

Toney isn't about the money? How many of you fans were saying Tonys earned his right to a payday with Oscar and thats his reason for calling him out?:lol::lol::lol::lol:

I laughed cause everyone called Margo out after the Cotto fight.
Baldomir became an undisputed champion... beating Judah and is VERY beatable by all active elite welterweights Decent fight? Yes.
Judah screws it up almost everytime he gets a title fight. Decent fight? Yes.
I'll wait and see how Mayorga performs, but I don't expect to be impressed.
Anyway, all three of them would make good tune-up fights for Margo, but they would all lose and lose big.
But if I was Margo, I'd seek a bigger name and a bigger payday. I agree though, the one fight he has to take in order to get props and boost his legacy is vs Williams.

PS: I was expecting a more convincing win for Clottey, I give credit to Zab for that.
