JLC and Margo fight nothing alike and only a novice who knows little about boxing would think they do. First of all JLC was way more skilled and unlike Margo had a good jab which he used to get inside and go to the body which in his prime was one of the best body punchers in the game. He also had more power P4P than Margo does and faster handspeed as well. He also could cut off a ring unlike Margo. He had decent head movement and would pick off shots with his guard. He applied smart educated pressure behind a jab unlike Margo who walks forward following his opponent around with no game plan and no jab looking to eat shots to get his off hoping to wear down his opponents with his chin and stamina. All pressure fighters are not the same and to say Margo is basically the same as JLC is like saying Spinks is the same as PBF.:deal

 

How is it a nightmare for Margarito? Honestly Floyd is going to have to fight, he cant run all night, and as another poster said, Castillo beat Floyd with Pressure, DLH had a very close fight pressuring Floyd and that isnt DLHs style and Oscar according to all of you and Floyd is a one handed fighter.

Whats Floyd going to do in there to be able to keep Tony off of him? Tony has a rock solid chin, insane workrate, and he comes for the kill, There is no way Floyd would ever beat Margarito, I am sorry, but that is the truth of it, Floyd does not have what it takes to beat Tony.

if you look at Tonys resume the guys he has had trouble with were BIG men who were also southpaws and who also had a high work rate, How is Floyd going to suddenly become that? he isnt, and Floyd being the smaller man only points out that Tony will have his way with Floyd as well.

this fight isnt happening becuase Floyd doesnt want to lose thats why the fight is not going to take place, Floyd doesnt want to be exposed, his recent retirement is the only thing that allows his supporters to make such insane arguements that Floyd would whip this man one sidedly.

Look at it this way, Ricky Hatton though he was not effective, how long did it take For Floyd to get the smaller man out of there? no way Floyd knocks out Margarito, and if Ricky was able to press Floyd to the ropes, imagine what the work rate of Margarito will do to Floyd when Floyd is on the ropes in a fight with him.

Sorry But in my eyes Margarito OWNS Mayweather. Proof is in the retirement.

Let's say Castillo has an amazing first 3 rounds and clearly outlands Mayweather, by a lot, and at a higher percentage.

However, for the next 9 rounds, Floyd lands more than Castillo, but not a whole lot more, but lands more, cleaner shots at a decent percentage.

However, because of Castillo's amazing first 3 rounds, he ends up landing more than Floyd and at a higher percentage.
