    Well, after the reading the interview, it sounded like he's taking a wait and see approach to see how the hand holds up. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now and hopefully he doesn't reinjure himself.

    However, if he makes it through the August tuneup fight and doesn't immediately step it up in a big way, it's a punk move. Can't talk trash about the skill level of the top fighters when you turn them down and haven't fought anyone who's a top 50 fighter.

    They were televising his 8 round fights in order to get him exposure because they knew he wouldn't have a long career due to his hands. Russell has some genuine talent, but it seems he's never to going to get the chance to develop and become a top level fighter.

    As much as I'd like to kick him if he turned down the DeLeon fight, I can't blame him for wanting to avoid a setback losing because his hand cracked on him again during the fight. He's on the hand transplant candidate list.

    He is taking a tuneup in Aug, as he had a major hand injury which has sidelined him.

    If all goes right with the tuneup, he said he would fight Ponce in the fall.

    Ponce just got TKO'ed and you ****ing racist ****suckers are saying Russell is scared of him??
