Just like the US and Europe, your nation also runs continual budget defecits and your "lauded" healthcare system is just as broken as the European model and headed for collapse when funds run out. All this without having to invest significantly in military because you are next door to the US.

Canada is on the same road as the US and Europe just further behind, especially when you look at the way your currency is also being inflated and your government continually overspends.

As for the US, no one in my family ever had to mortgage their house due to sickness.

Its not the job of any government to stop world hunger, especially with the money forcefully taken from others.

Child poverty isn't a government issue, it is a societal one, want the government to help put a dent in it, let children be able to work again instead of forcing them into government schools to be indoctrinated for 13 years.

Improve education by taken government bureaucracy out the equation. US spends more on education federally than the total growth of debt of the Canadian national debt in 2008-2009. More money isn't the answer. Competition in the free market is, it is cheaper and more efficient because only those who want it will seek it, and competition will drive prices down, instead of the current level of simply demanding more money to fix problems while staying at the same level.

Kids not being able to read is a parental problem not a government one.

Funny a Canadian lecturing about healthcare while their own citizens come to the US for treatement because their system is so overtaxed. Wonder what you all will do now since we are going down the same road of failure.
