Hatton, "I hate to say this about a world champion but he just wasnt that good" Freddy Roach

Oscar.. "I Knew Oscar was all done he couldnt pull the trigger anymore, we got to train for the fight, he had to train to make weight, the weight killed him, I saw fresh IV marks on his arm and knew he was in trouble" Freddy Roach.

Morales (After the loss) "Sorry Morales we underestemated you a bit I thought you were all done we wont make that mistake again" Freddy Roach

Yes he said, that when Pac and Oscar touched gloves he saw fresh IV marks, Fresh blood on those marks, that they tried to rehydrate him through an IV in the locker room....

He instructed Manny to jump on him

Oscar couldn't rehydrate what was never there. There was a reason Oscar made weight in the FIRST episode of 24/7. His decision to lose muscle to gain speed back (his words) was an absolutely stupid one and he can only blame himself for that.

I was just presenting the ******* argument on all of those. The conclusion was that neither argument is right, and the truth is in the middle. I don't believe those things myself. I do think Pac's recent resume has some holes in it, but it's a lot better than the initial poster made it out to be.

Personally, I think Hatton's verging on underrated at this point. Yes, his punch resistance has gone down, but other than that, he's the same fighter as he ever was. His aggressiveness and sneaky quickness are still there. He still dominated Malignaggi, who's a pretty good fighter. He dominated Lazcano outside of the shoe-tying incident. He fought pretty even with Mayweather through 6 rounds before getting dominated thereafter. Put him against the rest of the top guys at 140, and I think he still beats quite a few of them.

Solis is underrated as well. He never won a belt, but he's beaten some good fighters, and he would have won a belt off of Cruz had the referee deducted the more traditional one point for each of his low blow infractions rather than two points for each.

Marquez is a good win, and there's no way to cut back on that. Even if you think Marquez won close, it's still a good fight on his resume.

In retrospect, DLH was an easy fight, but people forget that he was nearly a 3-1 underdog coming in, and he destroyed him. It's easier to see this in hindsight. But if you look in hindsight like that, it makes a lot of all-time greats' resumes look worse.

Is he the greatest ever? No. Is he one of the best right now? Sure, and I think there's more than enough in his resume to support that. Even looking at it in the worst light possible, the quality of opponents he's faced relative to his previous weight is as impressive as just about anyone, other than maybe Taylor (who's lost a bunch and has more controversial decisions than Pacquiao), Hopkins (who lost three of those bouts) and Cotto (whose fights look more solid in retrospect than they did when he made them).

Another mismatch made in heaven but look at Oscar's face after fighting the feather-fisted Steve "2 pounds" Forbes !? And yes I know he won by UD, but Oscar couldn't EVEN KD the much smaller Forbes?? Mind you this was after his fight with Floyd.Oscar was WELL past his prime when Fighting Pacman.

LOL Oscar was coming off getting the **** beat out of him by Stevie two pounds Forbe LOL. Diaz beating Morales who was way past it does not make Diaz a good win LOL Pac went for the weak belt holder period. All I am saying is Pac hasn't been fighting the best available period end of discussion.
