I hope algieri beats him i really do, khan has been hurt by non punchers before and khan may think he can walk through algieri because of his lack of power and walk right on to something

Told you people.. All that talk about Cotto, broner, Bradley etc was all a smokescreen. Khan knew he was fighting Algeiri weeks ago but kept it quiet as he knew the stick he would get.

He is a ducker... Petrified of losing to kell brook.

Why is he ducking Brook so badly though? Honestly, Brook is good but he doesn't seem to me like some monster, he's beatable.

Is it the power? He doesn't think he can handle it maybe? Cause Brook will land shots he's a pretty accurate puncher.

He won't fight anyone who can punch. His so frightened of taking a shot from any fighter that isn't feather fisted. His desperate for that mega fight v Floyd that he won't risk losing.

Who is a bigger star in the UK, Brook or Khan? I was thinking that its maybe because if he loses, it will solidify Brook as the bigger star in the UK. I never believe one boxer is afraid of another, its usually the repercussions of losing they're afraid of.

It's not a bad fight, but the fight is in bad taste because of all the smack talk Kahn has been doing to get a fight with Pac and May. Kahn is relatively unproven at welterweight. His best opponent was Alexander, who lost to Porter. Porter lost to Brook. Algieri was a trinket holder at light welter for 1 fight, he is (1-1) in world title fights.

How does Kahn defeating Alexander or Algieri help his case of fighting Pac or May? Kahn would have been better served fighting Porter or Brook. If he went on to beat Brook at least he would have a title on the line against May or Pac.

Algieri was an ESPN fighter then and he still is. The Pac haters actually believed Chris had a chance at the big upset over the #2 P4P, so they built him up above ESPN level. Some of the Pac lovers couldn't bear that their hero was lowering himself to fight an ESPN fighter, so they built Chris up too. However, after Pac thoroughly whipped Algieri, the fantasy that he was an elite challenger evaporated. We are now in a state of reality, where Algieri is relegated to his true status as an ESPN fighter. Khan could have definitely chosen better.
