You know, there is too much politics and corruption in Texas boxing. That Trout fight shed some light on it and it was disgusting. If Kirkland had the right people behind him then I could see it. I mean people with power that would stand up for him and make sure that he was healthy and physically at his peak. People that couldn't be bought or swayed. He wouldn't have to worry about being black balled or put on the back burner for knocking Canelo's ass out. I believe that's one of the reasons Al Haymon is making the move he's making. Fighters need to be assured that when they step in that ring that the only one in control of their destiny is themselves.

 

Nowhere in the world is there any more corrupt place than Vegas. They just do it blatantly don't even try to hide it

Anne Wolfe is the only trainer who will work with Kirkland. She has nurtured him ,along with Pops Billingsly. He let her & Pops down so many times. He's just a street punk & always will be

 

If Kirkland's fat, and not trained by Wolf, it's not Canelo's fault and he shouldn't be critized for Kirklands mistakes. I still think it'll be an entertaining fight for as long as it lasts.

Hopefully, May vs Pac gets made, and Canelo reconsiders fighting Cotto in June. He can reclaim the May and September dates next year when Floyd's done boxing.
