If Duddy is C level, Chavez is at least one level above because he ****ed Duddy's **** up bad. Was a one sided beatdown.

I was watching the "Strike-Force" MMA card instead because a) I didnt really care about Chavez/Duddy and b) Chung Lee and Fedor usually put on a pretty good show.

But, I switched over after Fedor got stopped early and still caught most of the Chavez fight... and I gotta say... it was by far the best combat I saw all night.

I admit, Chung Lee was pretty impressive again... but in the end BOXING won the night.

Before the fight I wasn't impressed with Chavez, Jr., but afterwards he definitely impressed me. It's hilarious how some of you buttplugs try as hard as you might to discredit Jr's performance. The kid was showing skills he never displayed before. No, he wasn't perfect, he has slow, Margarito-like foot movement, but still blocked many of Duddy's shots by catching them on his gloves. He also showed a what many thought a non-existent jab in the first couple of rounds before he went toe to toe with Duddy. You can't learn skills from steroids.

he proved that he's a "B" level fighter who can only beat another "B" level figher. he has zero defense and no ring smarts. he's nothing more than a "glorified bar fighter". had he not abandoned the jab after rd 3, he would've stopped the irishman.

I agree and I watched the fight. If Chavez had power duddy would have been ko'd for sure, chavez could not miss with the right and duddy landed one giant right I think it was in the 5 or 6th round otherwise chavez picked most of duddy's shots off with his gloves

Chavez clearly does have some power, according to roach and it's pretty obvious just watching him box. Duddy has a goddamn iron chin. Dude blocked all of Julio's punches basically with his face for those last couple of rounds

be that as it may, he won. Duddy was definalty his toughest opponent to date. No one is claiming that Jr is an ATG but everyone called him a bum. I personally thought he would lose.

You are right. I saw the fight and if Duddy's puches had been those of David Lemieux, the fight wouldn't have lasted 3 rounds !!!
