    Ouch.

BTW, I'm against the Mosley fight and I'm embarrassed for Pac for taking it, so quit generalizing, you assholes.

those fighting at WW should be chasing each others tail. now tell me any worthy opponent for Pac at WW that is economically sound as Mosley fight could bring.

lets face it, none would be a challege for Pac at WW other than Floyd, bet you know what Floyd is into nowadays, so this "legacy fight" is out.its about economics from now on until Floyd got the urge.

Yeah, when top fighters actually fight other top fighters, they sometimes lose. Get over it.

And had his star making performance in his fight before Mosley, then was successful in a fight after Mosley.

Explain how a razor close SD is getting power bombed, especially when I recall everyone around here ranting about how Clottey really won that fight and Cotto only won because he was HBO's boy?

And yet in his next fight he powerbombed Clottey? :think

Tell that to, say, Castillo's ribs.

Oh, so we're counting looking bad now? So the way Hatton looked bad against Collazzo a couple of fights before Floyd takes away from Floyd's legacy, right?

And the Mosley win is meaningless for Floyd because three fights before that Mosley lost to Cotto and two fights before he went life and death with Mayorga?

The fact that Oscar was KO'd two fights before Floyd means Floyd was cherry picking Oscar, right?

Zab Judah lost his last fight before getting a Floyd match, then went on to lose left, right, and center to anyone he faced.

Baldomir already had 9 losses when Floyd fought him, and Gatti, while I will always love him, got stomped by anyone who was an A-class talent and a lot of guys who were B-class talents.

Floyd truly is the #1 p4p fighter and a top 10 atg with a resume like that.

And yet before each one of those fights weren't you telling us how this was the opponent who was going to stomp Pacquiao? Interesting how that works.

Btw, I seem to remember a lot of Floyd fans back Floyd up when he was saying that he wasn't interested in fighting Mosley because Mosley wasn't a pay per view attraction. Now they fault Pacquiao for not fighting Berto and getting a bigger name fight? Also interesting how that works.

great thread....obviously over embelished but damn when it's layed out like that it doesn't look too impressive save for the Cotto fight.

i meant Clottey literally got power bombed by Cotto in like the 4th round, right on his dome.

As for Hatton, I am saying mayweather is not known for any type of punching power, not Hatton, and yet he still KO'd Hatton cold.

I addressed this bull**** in another thread and the morons there didn't understand what I meant.

Pacquiao @ 140: Oh he's draining to make weight. 147 is his natural weight

Paquiao @ 147: He has to eat a whopping 7000 calories a day to maintain this as it is not his natural weight. For those that don't know. 7000 calories is what a lot of people eat in a week.

Pacquiao @ "150/144": Pacquiao won't fight at this weight again, he's a natural welterweight.

Fight Martinez: I can't fight you for the belt I just won, that you used to have @ the weight class that its supposed to be won at. I'm a little guy afterall

Fight Marquez: I can't fight you at a weight that's really convenient for us both because you'll probably beat my ass again for the 3rd time. Plus I'm one of the big guys now, Thats why I eat in a day what most eat in a week. Anything less than that would make me uncomfortable.... Like giving blood. Plus I'm Jr. Middleweight champ *****! I don't fight below 147 or at the Jr. Middleweight limit either for that matter *****!

Fight Mosley: Well since Floyd kicked your ass, and that no name guy on regular tv got a draw. I should be able to at least avoid Marquez and get paid at the same time (even though you're really not a draw) Im hoping i can still make you go down to 142. >:D

Pacquiao won't fight anyone without a distinct advantage. And that small guy beating up big guys **** should be ceased. Either he's a jr. welterweight or a huge lightweight who's been beating up smaller guys most his career. Or he's a very small welterweight. It can't be both. Either he needs 7000 calories to make this weight (cough cough BULL****) or he doesn't. He can't be the "under(small)dog" every fight and people can't keep giving him credit for beating up big slower guys.

Who's saying he's a worthy opponent? Almost everyone around universally agrees he's shot/ old and it's a **** fight. But Berto and Marquez aren't tat much better and that's the point. There's no one out there for Pac to fight except Floyd and he's getting a sex change.

Silly point. The top welterweights all fought each other and proved too evenly matched. Everybody beat everybody, so there were no top ranked welterweights Pacquiao could have fought at the time he arrived who did not lose one of his last 2-3 fights. Mosley beat Margarito who beat Cotto who beat Mosley. Quintana beat Williams who beat Margarito who beat Clottey. The only fighters who emerged unscathed from that period were the ones who didn't fight anybody (i.e. Berto; Mayweather)

Still better than Floyd's last 2 opponents:

    1. Josie Harris
    2. Security guard

I definitely call bull**** on Pac being unable to fight at 140 because it "drains" him. If I have to eat 7000 calories to weight 7 pounds over what I weigh now, and I need to lose 7 pounds...guess what I need to do to lose it?

Unless its Mayweather, I doubt Pac will ever fight a non-Top Rank fighter again. When was the last time he didnt? Hatton?

Just wanted to point out that:

Pacquiao fought Cotto immediately after Cotto "power-bombed Clottey", according to you.
Pacquiao fought Hatton immediately after Hatton TKO'd Malignaggi in a fight many were calling his best performance.

I could go on, but I try not to feed the trolls. Don't even know why I posted this much, tbh.

You could look at it from the POV that Pacquaio's last 6 opponents have all been in with the best prior to fighting him. They've all got big wins as well as big losses don't forget

Also I might point out that even though Hatton got KO'd by Floyd, it was a competitive fight up until that point. And I'm probably a bigger fan of Floyd than I am of Hatton
