Too late mate, 33 years old. Too much time spent fighting bums. He gets what he deserves.

So why hang around? Go up and carve out a legacy at 168.

There is clearly nothing for him at 160.

I hope he collects all the belts in the mw division and become the WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO undisputed mw champion of the world and make all his detractors ' good boys'.:yep:smoke

He can be the undisputed mw champion of everything and anything.....and no one will give a rats rear end because he doesn't have a single win over anyone that anyone rates

Agreed, it's a very odd logic

I like Golovkin, he has a great style he fights a lot and he scores knockouts and to me generally looks to chase real challenges

I see lots on here bash the guy but I can't figure out what kind of boxing fan doesn't enjoy a fighter like Golovkin?

He hasn't beaten anyone great but he hasn't had the opportunity yet. So far in 2015 all the best guys at his weight had other fights, I think now is the time to try and lock in a lee Quillin Lemieux or Jacobs fight. All those are solid wins. But yet again it will fit the same mold of very good win but not a great win

Canelo may be the only big name out there that will probably fight GGG once he moves up at mw.

I think he should fight the winner of DeGale-Groves II.

Ggg fan boys aren't real boxing fans anyway

What kind of boxing fan bashes Miguel cotto and calls him a pansy?

For starters a guy from two divisions lower isn't holding the championship hostage.
Ward is one of the greatest talents of this generation. Beating him will enter you into the history books. Everybody wants a part of Mayweather. Why won't GG chase after Ward like everybody does with Floyd?
Ward is after a big PPV fight. Glovkin can get that next year.
Incredible that you would use this argument for him not moving up and won't apply the same for Cotto as GG would get even less credit for beating him.
    Glovturds are an embarrassment.
So why is he fighting the Monroes and Rubios of the division.
Exactly the same can be said for 168.
