Sounds better than the A$50 PPVs Anthony Mundine puts on every few months in Australia against Argentine cab drivers. Do the show the PPVs in pubs over there?

 

Some places show ppv fights. I know a few people who saw the Hatton vs Lascano on ppv in a pub, they had no idea the fight was on that night but stayed and watched it.


The Mundine situation is pretty damm bad. He is one of the few people that when I have heard that something bad has happened to them I laugh. The whole contact lense situation was hilarious even if it did cover up the true story of what happened to him.

 

Not aware theres is another story behind lensgate but if so gives you a good idea of his genius that that was the best excuse he could come up with. In his last PPV the only clip of the fight they showed on the news was Crazy Kim knocking him down. Over and over.
The sooner one of of his handpicked opponents lands that lucky hail mary shot and ends this farce of a career the better.
In comparison 15 pounds or roughly $33 Aus for Khan PPV doesn't seem so bad to me, but obviously you have to question the level of his opponent.
Just like we do every ****ing time Mundine fights.

 

I remember spending about 2 weeks arguing with an aussie who rated the super middles

1) Kessler
2) Mundine
3) Calzaghe

That was fun.

Unfortunately Jeff there are a few like that over here. While he does have some skill anyone with more than a passing interest in the sport realises every time hes stepped up his competition hes fallen short. Still have a chuckle over him losing his interim title in a split decision at home. Calz would school him and Kessler would need sneakers and a net to catch him if they ever fought again.
Won't happen though will it, as soon as MK was made mandatory challenger the Middleweight division took on a new appeal to him for some strange reason. Can't understand why...

you are partially right. most of the asian guys i know will be cramming themselves into the houses containing chipped cable boxes. frank really should sack his research team.

 

People want to see it but we shouldn't want to pay to see it. We are already payign via sky subscription, advertising, tickets etc

Someone will always buy a product/commodity so Khan will always sell. Whatever numbers they do, they could do double if it was a legit fight.

 

So can we say now that your faith in Khan has totally gone, Achilles?
