Rees beats them all at lightweight imo, an underestimated but fully motivated Rees would beat the **** out of Gamboa.

Would love to see this fight happen.

been watching rees for a while. only fighter i have seen in my lifetime to improve dramaticaly.

form his harsh boxer swarmer. to a good mover when he wants to be. his defense has improved 2 fold.

i think gamboa might have the power and handspeed to catch him coming in too many times...but rees is a world class operator. it's not gary lockett -pavlik or michael jennings- miguel cotto. its a good match up and at a wieght he has an advantage over.

To be the best you gotta beat the best as the old saying goes, Gavin's won a world title and he's extremely well seasoned. Sort of guy you'd have more faith in doing himself justice on the big stage then others.

Gamboa is a massive task but Rees clearly fears no man so why not he'll give it a right go which is all we ask of fighters well the sensible people do . Fighting in Vegas for a nice purse and a chance to win another world title. Can't ask for much more.

...might make history to be the first 140lb champion to go down a wieght and win lightweight...might check it out. but still mildly interesting.

rees has always impressed me, in fact i made a few quid on him when he beat Mbaye. Why not take this fight? Gamboa can be hurt, i reckon Gav could stop him...

:lol: for some reason that reminded me of the kotelnik fight round 12

enzo calzaghe told him he has to stop kotelnik to which rees replied "err i'm not really good at that"
