Vitali Klitschko trumps any heavyweight KO Usyk has.

Neither have 1 punch KO power and neither have 1 punch KO’d anyone. Don’t say “but Usyk KO’d DD?”, did he really? If you think he did, Byrd KO’d Klitschko, even though in reality Klitschko gave up, same as DD.

Usyk is better but their size/style/punching power is similar.

I hope that I am not jumping in out of context but you do know that Vitali retired in the corner with a shoulder injury, right?

Usyk is far more skilled than Povetkin was and fights nothing like the other Soviet fighters Wlad fought, plus the Soviet union doesn't exist anymore, Russia and Ukraine are at war.

Byrd wa only 6'1 with a 74 inch reach, he had the same reach that Bud has, Usyk is 6'3 with a 78 inch reach same as Ali.

Yes, that’s why I said he gave up, injury or not, it still counts as a KO on paper.

On boxrec Byrd is 6’2 with 75 inch reach, it’s similar size to Usyk, no? I never said the were exactly the same but since they both are somewhat under sized for heavyweight, both southpaws that throw punches with a volume heavy style and rely on speed they are similar.

I know most on here believe Usyk is a god but Usyk and Byrd are more similar that what ppl want to admit.

Prime Ike would have wrecked Usyk.

Easy work for Usyk. He'd box the ears of that big, crude brute

The final punch that put Dubois down was a powerful shot, Bryd didn't have that kind of power.

Ike never fought anyone as quick or as well-conditioned as Usyk who also has a good chin.

I mean Usyk to me has those attributes of Ibeabuchi's big two wins: Byrd and Tua, in the fact that Usyk is a southpaw with good feet, and in the fact that Tua could go the distance if he wanted to like Usyk and has a great chin. As Lampley said while on the Ibeabuchi-Byrd commentary, Ike would have some trouble finding a southpaw if he were to keep using that hunt and peck style.
Byrd was quite adept though, if not as fast as Usyk, look at what he did to Jimmy Thunder

Tua was nothing like Usyk, he was only 5'10 with a 70 inch reach, Usyk has much longer constant southpaw jab.
