Not as quick maybe, but for conditioning and chin ...
Well Ike and Tua did set a record for punches thrown in a heavyweight contest. Did it over 12 rounds too taking the record from a 15 round fight.
Hard to say Ike didn't have the conditioning to go 12 at Usyks pace back in his day.

For what it's worth I'd predict Usyk UD Ike all day every day.

I know, what I'm saying is that Usyk has a solid chin, like Tua, and both men could go the distance if they wanted to.

It was a well placed shot on an already hurt opponent. lol, you guys are too much with the Usyk love. Give Byrd some credit, he was a tough warrior, not on Usyk’s level but similar in many ways, neither had that “kind of power”.

You people who think that Ike is relevant need help. Seek it.

Ike wasn't good enough at 25 to hang with Usyk. It would be an embarrassment for the ages at twice that number.

Usyk is a great fighter and gets his dues. I’d pick him over Ibeabuchi but I wouldn’t dismiss Ike out of hand so easily.

Ike’s stamina, high output and chin would stand him good stead - and the possession of all 3 attributes by the one fighter is something the SHW comp. has been sorely lacking in - much to Olek’s current advantage.

I wouldn’t be adverse to put some sneaky money on Ike.

Usyk isn't going to lay on the ropes doing the rope a dope with his hands by his sides and let this big, crude one dimensional brawler catch him with his bombs like Byrd did. Byrd graduated at the American school of slickness, not the Soviet/Cossack one like Usyk. Two different schools of slickness.

Usyk is not trying to impress the crowd with his defensive prowess and slickness, dropping his hands and making a show of being slick. He's just being slick and effective and it's never for show to impress others with how slick he is.

He's not ducking his head below the beltline either which is a staple of the US school of slickness despite the fact it's illegal. Byrd was an excellent fighter and defensive fighter but he did that very often.

Usyk has a better chin and is a bigger puncher than Byrd too, when he chooses to punch with full power.

Ike gets his ears boxed off by Usyk

The Secret Service would never allow the fight to happen.

You can make the argument Wlad would beat Usyk. I disagree, but you can make the argument.

Povetkin doesn't beat Usyk at any point in his career.

Chisora fought Usyk in a phone booth (smallest ring I've ever seen) and still could barely touch him in the later rounds. In a regular sized ring Usyk wins 10-2.

Pre-prison Ike wouldn't touch Usyk. Y'all nostalgia-driven guys that think Tyson is the GOAT really need to do some homework before you get on the internet. Ike beat a gatekeeper Byrd and a stationary target in Tua. You really think he'd beat Usyk?

Tyson was a lot more skilled than Ike and Tua and punched far narder than Byrd as does Usyk.

Ike has like 2 decent wins lol. He's not even worthy to be in the discussion with Oleksandr.
