Crawford is consensus P4P 1-3. I think Pac wanted to take Crawford's belt first before fighting Spence. Spence is a bigger draw than Crawford, so if Pac could beat Crawford first, he'd have an even bigger slice of the A-side pie in a mega fight. They're negotiating now. BTW, I'd favor Crawford to beat Pac. 70/30.
you cant. just like you shouldnt turn down the fight for the same reason, you dont even know whats gonna get offered. unless youre looking for reasons not to fight, instead of looking for reasons to fight.
Holy crap, when I first saw people posting this I thought it was a joke. He ducked a 40 something guy who's gonna be a whole weight class smaller on fight night? Even if the big Abu Dhabi money didn't come through Pac in the MGM bubble or a high school auditorium is still probably the biggest money fight for him, not to mention it boosts every other purse the rest of his career...
It's a bad look either way. Given his words over the years, you'd think he would be the one waiting for a signature from Pac.
I'll wait for more info before I jump to conclusions. Kind of unbelievable that at this stage of his career and of Pacquiao's career he wouldn't fight him.
But, as evidenced by your own original post, the backing never came through. It's not unreasonable to believe that he was waiting for all of the dotted I's and crossed T's before applying his John Hancock. What do I know? Maybe he is "ducking". But this hardly seems like concrete evidence of such when the potential backers never held their end.
