After Pac faced De la Hoya: Oscar was weight drained. He was a walking corpse.

After He faced Hatton: Hatton was overrated...he was ruined by Mayweather.

After he faced Cotto: He is on steroids.

The funny thing about this fight is how much **** was talked by other boxers. They all discredited pac's previous wins and talked about how Cotto was too strong for him.....WRONG. Cotto was too strong for them, not pac. These boxers really hate the fact they can't do what Pac can, and insted of eating their crow they then decide to accuse him of steroid use.

The first two are true though. And no one on here is seriously contending that Pac is on steroids, that I've seen. He demolished a legitimate and serious welterweight in truly impressive fashion, and he is getting all of the credit in the world for that. The Pac is great threads outweigh the others 10 to 1 right now, so I'm not sure what you're complaining about.

people need to quit acting like the hating minority is the majority around here. For every guy that says hes juicing youve got 2 saying hes better then sugar ray leanord.... so it evens out, just like every other mega fight. Also, just because someone says cotto is past his best doesnt mean hes hating, maybe hes just telling his honest opinion? doesnt mean the win wasnt amazing in the slightest.... pac was phenomenal.

COtto Stong? wha!? I don't think he's that strong. Are people here nuthuggers? I have watched Cotto.I don't see him as strong like people claim. Is it me or people are just blowing it up a bit? Cotto vs Mose, and Judah he was in discomfort in that fight his legs buckled and he was running against Clottey so for a big strong dude geez it's hard to believe it.Btw you don't need steriods to beat Cotto or Hugton or Hoya. Cause to put it like this. Morales, Barrera and Marquez are just better than those 140er's.That's FACT.THE 3 HOMBRES
ARE TOUGHER,strong and skilled atg's people don't give those 3 Mexicans credit it amazes me.

Cotto is a solid welterweight. Is he as strong as Mosely, who was pushing Margarito around, or Clottey, who is ****ing huge? No, he isn't. But he's certainly a strong welterweight with good thudding power. Judah may have made him uncomfortable, but he made Judah unconscious.

first of all roach is the one who let the world know that oscar was a walking corpse. second roach also said that hatton is over rated and third pac gets full credit for beating cotto however everyone knew cotto was a punching bag prior to this fight (see slow ass margarito) and that he would be easily hit but even with these weakness of cotto pac should get full credit which he does check the rankings he's rated # 1 at welter for not beating the top guy and fighting at a catchweight he gets plenty props

Cotto himself used these excuses, discrediting Pac's wins saying De La Hoya was weight drained and that Hatton was overrated. Seeing as he was totally outclassed also, I wonder if Cotto now considers himself overrated? Cintron and Malignaggi are just douchebags, who shown no bottle and quit like pussies whenever they've faced an elite opponent. It's just jealousy from them.

LOOK you have your opine and I have mine.I don't think he is that good or as strong as the hype mate.It is that simple. He can smash Malignagay or the great FROG Jenkins I mean Jennings and the kid who fought on the undercard but who can't? Look a here.I have watched him very closely he doesn't strike me as lethal or particularly great in his perfomances i see only vulnaribilities in his chin and stamina.I am sorry but he is over-hyped.

He was able to beat his last 3 opponents, even if he was the underdog, as far as boxing experts are concerned, probably because all 3 of them were very reliant on their left hand a lot, and Team Pac knew that, and they were able to come up with a good plan to minimize their opponents left hand effectiveness, power and skill.

And except for Oscar, the other 2 fighters were more or less similar in size to Pac. And loved to mix it up and be in Manny's range.

They werent gigantic 140 fighters or gigantic welterweights.

If the last 3 opponents were all tall, sharp, accurate, 2 handed combination boxer/punchers, Team Pac would have had a harder time, I feel.

well Mosley himself said Cotto is strong, and one of the toughest fighters hes fought, that kinda outweighs opinion. In fact Cotto is only the second person to beat mosley welterweight down..... is one of only two people to beat quintana, and only one of two people to beat clottey (with one eye and after a horrendous beatdown from marg) in the last however many years.

so you can keep bringing up the likes of jennings all you want, just shows your agenda considering cotto has one of the best welterweight resumes out there, and yet you bring up a 140lber and a come back fight.

I love watching Manny but I'm afraid Roach and Manny bring a lot of the **** on themselves. If Manny is such a 'natrual beast' why do they keep on demanding this ridiculous catchweight bull**** and then afterwards say he is now so strong at weltwerweight with so much power?? And by the sounds of Roach's latest comments this same catchweight rubbish is gonna be a big part of the Mayweather negotiations

Maybe I need to get my eye checked.

One thing though.Mayweather now this cat is for real.He has all the skillz and intelligence to outclass Manny and give him the most trouble. He is like Marquez but 3 times better.I got by MAY by mid to late TKO.That's if May doesn't get stupid and allow PAc to tee off on him on a rope-a-dope.

    Peace.

i can see where you're coming from, but he did start at 106 lbs. give or take a few pounds at a catch weight doesnt really do much. i wouldnt be surprised if cotto was pushing 150 + lbs on the night, he looked massive compared to pac.
