He was SUPER mad over that point deduction, shaking his head, and dirty looks, then he went right at Gomez and knocked him in the next sequence with combos...awesome:rofl:good

vitali can afford to do that - wlad can't.

wlad was always touted as the next big thing way before the lewis fight (vitali), but its vitali who can afford to let it go when it counts.

    That was pretty cool.
A lot of people seem to not like this fight, but I thought it was a fun fight to watch.

Watching Vitali go to work is alot more fun than watching guys like Hopkins and Calzaghe fight.

It wasn't great, but it was certainly no Valuev/Holyfield.

It was a good fight, yes. I don't see how it can be seen as a bad fight, at all. Good powershots, some decent exhanges, and some good knockdowns.

Gomez was no pushover. It was tough for Vitali to get his distance and rythmn. I think Gomez was one of the very few fighters to ever win a round against VItali. The first round I think Gomez did win, and he was certainly a worthy opponent and the fight was not a bad fight, at all. :good Credit for Gomez.

Now, hopefully the big man can get Valuev or Chagaev, next, but I am not holding my breath. I think they both unwilling to get in there with him.

Decent exchanges? Gomez looked like an amateur, he didn't know how to throw ****ing punches.

I suppose you would land huge sharp punches on Klitschko, right? People need to stop saying he did this, did that..sometimes credit CAN be given to the other guy fighting

    That's because Gomez was head-butted.

When a boxer is cut due to an unintentional head butt, as per the discretion of the referee, the uncut boxer will receive a one-(1) point deduction. This rule does not apply in the USA.
