Honestly he will never find another opponent that pays this well, but that doesn't mean it's a good offer. He could just sit on his belt fight bums for 3 years and make that much and then retire undefeated.

He also knows he is worth more and can make more, they paid Parker more. So why would he accept less?

Yes, Joshua can fight Povetkin for 20 million plus, Then the Pulev Vs Whyte winner, if Whyte then another big domestic event, maybe even squeeze Miller in the US and Then hopefully Fury is nearly ready and that's huge.

In the meantime Wilder can go and fight AJ's leftovers Breazeale for 1.5 million and won't earn in total in that time what AJ gets for fighting Povetkin, superb busbiess by Team Wilder, amazing.

Where are you hearing 20% from?

Wilder should definitely get less than AJ, but 20% is ridiculous.

I know Hearn/AJ would probably want to start negotiations low, but that looks way too low.

Couldn't have been more boring than AJ/Parker but you watched that. Deep down inside you know you're wrong for supporting this sleazy **** by AJ/Hearn. It can't be justified and I believe the public will agree.

    Mr BB,

    Why would he accept less?

Show me numbers and money that proves he is worth more, I can't see them, he earns 1-2 million per fight on average being a world champion, his live gates are poor, his PPV numbers are what?

And because like you say he won't earn that in 3 years..

They are trying to keep Wilder from the upside, could easily be 12% or less like some are saying which would mean a 88/12 split would be better than this deal. Not much more in boxing is more despicable than this, especially if it's a take it or leave it offer which is also rumored.

It's all rumours at the moment, nothing has been confirmed by either side and probably won't be.

But even if it is true it's just the first offer and nobody accepts the first offer.

Could he not of meant demo's as american wilder nut huggers rather than how you took it?

I assume you are claiming racism? Actually, i dont know what you were claiming as you never actually said it which is funny because thats what you were calling him out for, lol,

Anyways, just a thought dude, i dont mean it as negatively as you will no doubt take it, lol

I dont see a big problem here??

This is how it works. A side offers a low ball contract insulting B side. B side comes back with a high ball offer and they meet some where in between.

Why are all the Wilder fan boys getting so bent out of shape at this early stage?

Now if AJ refused to budge from 12 mill then i could understand, lol

Wilder has a belt. This is like when Canelo and ODLH wanted to give GGG a flat fee. Granted Wilder has zero PPV and at least GGG had a little but still Wilder deserves more IMO

Honestly all of this does not warrant the benefit of the doubt you are giving. It really reeks of the worst kind of boxing politics that everybody is sick of. Maybe if it wasn't for the fact that all Eddie Hearn has is AJ I'd feel more confident but I don't see anything that warrants the benefit of the doubt.

Anything above or below 70/30 and 60/40 from either side is just postering. Also a bout it the US should only be considered if It's AJs. choice.
