lol, that is nothing like GGG. GGG has all but one belt and Clenelo has jack, in fact everytime he got a belt he gave it up to duck GGG. I don't think Windmills situation is anything resembling the past. Windmills has been content being the king of Alabama. Now suddenly everyone is getting paid 10 times what his biggest payday is to face AJ, and well... what has he done to deserve to even make demands? To be fair I think he's got as much right to believe he is worth what he feels he's worth but the reality is that he doesn't bring much to the table. The only advantage he has is that AJ wants to unite the belts but then again that just shows what I wrote before. Windmills is content where he is, no desire to do **** and get paid handsomely for it.

He could defend his belt against tomato cans a few times, or maybe he could fight Fury if the guy ever comes out of retirement.

Wilder’s an idiot if he turns down any offer. If he wins, he’s the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world and can write his own cheques. He’s an absolute clown if he declines and fights Breazeale for 2 mill.

Only a delusional fanboy would dismiss it as a lowball offer.

It all seems a bit strange. In many interviews Eddie Hearn has said that he thinks highly of Wilder and that after the Ortiz win, he think Wilder deserves even more of a split in the Joshua fight.

When asked if that meant 50/50, he said no. And when you look at it, Wilder doesn't deserve that. He isn't the draw and AJ has a much better resume - in half the fights.
However, when asked about 60/40, he said that was more in the ball park and it "wouldn't be far off".
He was ALSO asked about a flat fee offer and he said "no way, they wouldn't consider it".

I have a feeling team Hearn has fed out this news to maybe **** off Wilder's team.
Shelly Finkel obviously pissed Hearn off when he leaked details of their email exchanges, hence why he started referring to him as "Shirley Winkle".

This is probably just a way to build the fight further. Negotiations will surely go on. I WAS concerned when I heard Joshua say yesterday: "I would take this offer, it's very good". That made me think that it would be low... I really hope it's not the real offer. That was my one fear, that they would make an offer they knew team Wilder would refuse. Thoughts?

according to rumor, its an 88/12 split in favor of joshua and even if wilder wins they agree to same terms in the rematch

    I've got an idea.

If Wilder generates and is worth more than 12 million then why doesn't Team Wilder make a better offer?

They can blow Hearn out the water and embarrass him with a huge offer, after all Wilder is worth more right?

Now answer me, why won't that happen?

neither of these guys have the star power of a prime mayweather or pac, so the point is moot. Wlad is boring, so is parker.. both really dont have names in the USA. and joshua offered wlad 50/50 and parker 60/40

Hang on, so Team Wilder can't make a counter offer? Even if it's just to embarrass Hearn and AJ?

Problem is they might accept it and then they are screwed LOL

Oh right, so because the man with 1 belt compared to AJ's 3 belts, the man ranked behind AJ nearly everywhere is travelling it should give him what? More money?

OK, well what about those belts? Joshua's fought two unifications to get those belts and Wilder has fought how many unifications? Joshua has done most of the work here.

Who will be promoting, putting on and selling the event? Wilders side? Nope, so that's not being taken in to consideration either is it.

Oh and AJ is unbeaten too so I don't understand about Wilder "putting his undefeated record on the line" being a plus for him against AJ.

As it stands, the offer made is fair.

It would result in him making more in that one fight than his previous 40 fights.

And if he wins, it opens the door to a lot more big money bouts where he would be in the driver's seat.

On the other hand, if he loses, this would be his last big dollar fight, so he needs to milk it to its max.

I think he can probably get the $ amount up to somewhere close to $15M as it is the most lucrative bout that AJ can make at this point.

Or Wilder could go for a percentage.

    Anywhere from 25 - 35 % would seem fair.

Or he could take a bit of a risk and fight either Pov or Parker next.

If he KO's either one, he would up his bargaining power considerably, to say 40 - 50% territory.

It all depends on how confident he is regarding his own prognostications.

And I bet you were talking **** on GGG or not taking Canelo's flat offer, same goes for Pacquiao rejecting Mayweather's, I bet you talked mad **** about both for not taking flat fee offers.
