Who the hell believes they have 50 mill ready for Joshua as a guarantee?

Joshua vs wilder wouldn't even do over 60 mill

Wilder couldn't lost a purse bid against povetkin couldn't raise more then 7 mill and now after few fights can offer AJ one the biggest draw 50 mil?

I couldn’t care less who KO’s who to be honest, I somewhat dislike both of them, but I find this whole “rivalry” hilarious :D

Wilder will be delivering takeaways if they actually guarantee Joshua 50m.

There is no money, no offer. If it were true, it would have been delivered by a legal representative not over email. Anyone buy a house before? Did the seller suddenly bypass his agent to make you an offer? That's actually improper and defeats the purpose of having an agent, manager, and promoter.

He's either got it or he hasn't. If he has, the fight will happen, unless Hearn roadblocks it over the date, venue or broadcast contracts. If the Wilder team can't verify the finances, they gonna look a little stupid. In the meantime, Joshua can sit back and wait for Hearn to tell him what will happen next...

"The T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas is leading the race to host Anthony Joshua’s heavyweight showdown with Deontay Wilder."

"British fans will be disappointed to hear the T-Mobile Arena is leading the race, as it was hoped Wembley Stadium would host the heavyweight showdown."

It's an easy fight to turn a profit on. Also, Wilder-Joshua won't be a ballet dance like Fury-Wlad or Mayweather-PAC. Haymon still has well over $100 million left over from the Waddell & Reed money he got.

Staging the first undisputed Heavyweight title fight in almost 20 years since Lennox Lewis beat Holyfield likely started getting the interest of a lot of investors in the states, who don't want to run the risk of either fighter losing before money could be made on their fight.

Haymon can get it i have no doubt about that, he could of been working all sorts of magic in the background, hes not one for talking and loading up on Youtube and Instagram. He could have an agreement with a major venue where to garuntee he chooses them if he can pay them off in installments, I believe Haymon can bring all that cash.

But it is a huge gamble, Clearly it would take place in America but thats an awful lot of money to look to atleast get back putting on a fight between an American that has never done good numbers when not even PPV and a Brit who is largely unknown in the USA and wont be able to generate anywhere near as much as he does when he fights in the UK. Such a massive gamble, such a lot of money.

But then what if it comes off? The fight takes real hold of America and does real good numbers, Wilder beats Joshua, becomes the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world after knocking out THE MAN of the division. He will become a massive star overnight. If that gamble pays off he will be making all that money back in no time.

Although i dont care much about either fighter you are right abut AJ fanboys. Literally going into meltdown looking through Wilder and his teams tax returns in panic.

What is wrong with these people? Its liek they dont want to see boxing matches

Wilder and his team talk more rubbish than Donald Trump on speed. There is no 50mill and it's a childish and pointless attempt to show up Hearn. It's clear the fight won't happen this year.

People said the same thing about Don King in 1974. Nobody could believe that he secured over $10 million in order to pay Ali and Foreman each $5 million. Haymon has a proven reputation of being able secure money for big fights.

Considering the Joshua-Wlad rematch was set to be at T-Mobile Arena with Wlad being guaranteed $30 million and the fight was projected to be a $60 million fight. Wilder-Joshua is easily a bigger fight and a much easier sell, since Wilder has a much more viewer friendly style and Wilder has alreadly headlined in Vegas and Newyork and did good numbers.

The Wilder-Joshua fight should easily do around 2 million PPV buys if it's promoted properly.
