Cool...I lived in Dixon for 10 months and 23 days.
Moved there after a 33 day vacation on W 26th and California and a short stay at club Statesville in Joliet.

    Good times.

Man this is the worst round by round ever lol..
I tune in to see a round by round breakdown and how my expert prediction come true.
But lo and behold, suddenly suffered my first lost:(

Oh well, time to dust it off.
Like Bernard Hopkins I shall drop down one weight and bully my way through an ATG ranking.

How far could Lolenga Mock have gone in his prime, if he had been built up correctly in the first half of his career instead of fighting cruiserweights and light heavyweights in other fighters backyards? He is doing great now, but to be in his prime at age 45 doesn't make sense to me. At least physically his real prime should have been many years ago.

I must say, Mock doesn't look slow at all, especially for someone nearing his 46th birthday

Pfft, Chudinov looked like he didn't even know how to fight on the front foot.
Its like all he has practiced is to step in, throw punches and reset. Mock just by taking small steps back and flashing the jab seemed to completely befuddle the young man.

You know what's ****ing crazy? Haye is the only man to defeat Mock that is still technically active.

Erik Skoglund was just awoken from a medically induced coma due to a brain-bleed suffered in early December and finally removed from intensive care like a week ago. His career is most likely over, sadly, at the age of 26.

Bozic, Campillo, and Kostecki are the next most recent losses Mock has suffered and none of those guys have fought in years.

Going back a dozen years you get to Lucian Bute, who now hasn't fought in nearly a year (with nothing apparently on the horizon), since his loss to Eleider Álvarez in February - and is yet to retire officially but is celebrating his 38th birthday next month and is 2-5 in the last six years.

If anyone's stock just increased, you could say it was GGG. :D (he retired Malik Dziarra - in both literal sense, forced him to quit the match and ran him outta the sport) who beat Mock in 2004.

From that very little bit we have it appears he was indeed in control with his jab, which makes sense if you watch both guys' previous fights and is the commonality in all eyewitness descriptions of this one (most observers suggesting that Chudinov took the first few on activity while Mock revved up the motor and didn't do much of anything, but once the jab started landing around the midway point, it was an irreversible shift in momentum from then on)

I'm sure it was closer than 99-90 but don't listen to @CST80 howling that it must've been a robbery, that's just the usual to be expected sour grapes. You newbies will get used to it, he gets salty over his kirk's picks. A month from now it'll blow over and he'll forget having ever had any animosity toward Mock (and I don't think he's a raging Chudinov fanboy either). If the video comes out we can compare scores.

For now I'm just glad for the result, chuffed for Lolenga (and still kicking myself for not laying a bet on him, which wasn't due to lack of confidence in a small punt being worth it, especially at those odds, but more due to having just been busy the last couple of days and totally blanking on it..)

Both Chudinov brothers have been horribly mismanaged. They both should have started at 160 and stuck there.
Now stick a fork in their careers.

Works for a very, very select few, devours everybody else that tries it and spits out your bones.

Kind of like trying to work the stock market.

...which can literally drive a man crazy, forming part of the premise of the film Pi.

It's all the same, just vastly different methods and potential returns. At their core doing both ends up being toxic for most. It's really a pick your poison type ordeal. Sucks.
