A 3rd fight isn't interesting unless Golovkin goes away and beats somebody good. He hasn't fought a real MW since he edged past Jacobs.
This guy just doesn't want to fight any of the top guys and thinks he can get the rubber match for free

It's his job to talk up his client.

I don't think there's much appetite for another fight at the moment, but if GGG stays active and relevant that may change.

I have very little interest in seeing them fight again. I don't think either fight was as good as it promised to be.

 

Canelo should fight Charlo, his mandatory.

Charlo has been waiting for his shot for a while now. The WBC disgracefully allowed Drugnelo an out vs Rocky "Mediocre" Fielding and they're going to do it again, just watch.

 

Did you hear that Golovkin rehydrates to 230lb on fight night. True story. They call him "spongebob" in the locker room.

 

Clearly Canelo is the best fight for Golovkin right now. No other fight really makes sense barring a tune up where he knocks an opponent out to build hype.

Is Golovkin the best fight for Canelo though? If Canelo destroys Fielding he has a potential unification fight with Smith that is legacy sealing. Then again if Canelo gets a third fight and secures a knockout he's suddenly seen as a great MW.

Canelo doesn't need GGG any more. With that judges decision he's the number 1 MW on the planet right now. No ifs and buts, that is a fact now. But does he want GGG, that determines if we see a third stanza imo. Makes a lot of money and Canelo is a favourite this time.

 

If we're talking money - and with sleazeball Oscar and Canelo's monthly clenbuterol bill we always are - then there's nobody within spitting distance that brings the money GGG brings. Barring something like a McGregor or Mayweather fight, that is.

I'd like to see Charlo get his mandatory shot. A nice high risk, low reward fight is exactly what Canelo needs

 

Gain some respect canelo, fight at the garden with GGG & we might beleive the outcome ...

Golovkin is 2-0 against Drugnelo in the eyes of most boxing media and the public. So yeah, Drugnelo needs him to clear his name.

 

Canelo is the biggest draw in boxing and can get paid well fighting anybody he wants.

Golovkin needed a nobody like Murata to earn a crust and now he doesn't know what to do because he cant generate big pay days on his own. Thats why he's back calling out Canelo out again despite having fought nobody else.
Triple Gs whole career is based around Canelo. He wants rematch after rematch because he's not a draw and doesn't feel he's good enough to tangle with the other decent MWs or SMWs that are available to him. He's not a legacy man like Canelo and is only in the game for easy , non-risk fights. Golovkin needs Canelo like a hobo needs a hot meal.
