(LOLWUT) Canelo and Plant's HILARIOUS In Fight Conversation...

People say "it's pathetic" but it really isn't. Caleb Plant is there to box a few rounds with Alvarez and lose, which is what he did.

What's actually pathetic is people who spend money buying these fights and surprised that some guy in the ring being paid $10 million is enjoying the fact.
Of course, occasionally a massive underdog does come to fight and upset the odds - it happens a lot in boxing - but realistically, at this point in time with a star like Alvarez being one of the few massive draws in boxing, they will do their best to stay clear of that type of underdog.

 

So who do you suggest fight if not the champions at MW and SMW?

 

He can fight anyone he likes. But fans need to be realistic about "big-time" professional boxing in this day and age.

 

It seems Canelo, despite already having the best resume is held to considerably higher standards than any other boxer.

It is about fairly ordinary fighters like Caleb Plant get overpaid to lose to him.

I think Plant may have been trying some lame reverse psychology crap here. I think he's saying "you're pretty good" to imply you'll have to be to beat me. And the 21 and 0 line is to say I've had less than half the fights you have and I'm a world champion already. It may have been desperation but I don't think he was asking Canelo to take it easy. I think he was more trying to imply he wasn't overly worried even if this ploy shows quite the opposite.

 

That Canelo is such a badass he took his best trait.

Thankfully Canelo is a good man and built him up in their post fight conversation.
