Nah. It's a local rivalry thing. Let's be honest Crolla had no shot against Flanagan. Crolla got absolutely humiliated by Indongo. Flanagan is a pretty slick customer. Would have toyed with him easy. His chin also isn't suspect like Linares' who has been stopped countless times. I can't even remember how many times the man has been stopped.

    ATG WIN BY LOMA DOE!

But 40 year old Ortiz was an ATG win by your hero a few months ago wasn’t it doe?!

Loma is regarded by the vast majority as the #1 fighter in the sport and its VERY warranted. I know that bothers the **** out of you... but too bad. Stay mad. Lol

    Oh I mean...

I actually don't care if people rate him as the #1 guy. To me Loma and Crawford are the #1 guys. I think Spence is the best but he needs to rack up some more wins to pass them. It's the credit he gets for those wins and how people compare him to past HOF/ATGs. I'll be making a thread about why Loma is the most overrated boxing of my generation by the end of the week. Stay tuned.

Crolla has never fought Indongo. Linares toyed with him easier than Flanagan would've. Crolla isn't the sort of man who is going to turn down a fight because of how he'll look in his hometown after a loss, you realise he is a borderline hero where he's from? how do we know Flanagans chin wasn't suspect? that's just guess work

what fight was even? Burns/Indongo, Linares/Crolla, or Crolla/Burns? either way, sorry, i don't get your point. Crolla isn't one of the best in the world admittedly, but there's no way anything other than promotional disputes stopped that fight

Crolla/Burns. What are you talking about? Stop making that excuse, if both fighters want that fight to happen it would get made. Taylor vs Davies was made ffs. I know for a fact that Flanagan wanted that Crolla fight badly. I don't blame him, Crolla was just an easy target.

"As Terry's exclusive promoter, I am prepared to agree, subject to contract and the commercial terms offered by Sky, that Sky Sports Box Office, can have the exclusive UK broadcast rights to the event to make it happen," said Warren.

"This should ensure that the Sky Sports/BoxNation argument cannot be used as a smokescreen to prevent this fight from happening. I will not make counter offers to secure the event for BoxNation providing Sky Sports Box Office do not offer unreasonable terms.

"Boxing fans have called for promoters to put aside rivalries, egos and personal agendas and collaborate to deliver the best possible fights for the public. Here is the perfect opportunity to do this and I'm playing my part."

If Crolla really wanted the fight, do you truly believe Hearn would have stopped him? Stop.

it's not an excuse, it's a fact, that's why the fight didn't happen. Cyclone/Matchroom work together though, so what has that got to do with Queensbury/Matchroom? i can't believe your brain is actually telling you that Crolla thought it was better to fight a much harder fighter for less money and less interest, as opposed to a local derby unification, between two people who went to the same school, from the same city, for more money in an easier fight...just lol

Spence is the best because he beat a drained Kell Brook who dominated first 6 rounds and had his soul taken away by GGG

At the time Flanagan was the higher rated LW. Linares had come off stopping Mitchell in a fight he was losing. His chin was also suspect af. There definitely was not a perception of Linares being a MUCH harder fight. STOP it Loma dickrider.

Why wouldn't I? You really believe Flanagan didn't want the fight? Use your brain, Crolla was an easy win for him. Of course he preferred Crolla over a Mikey or Linares.
