Well if 3G is on the top of the pound for pound list, an argument can be made for Loma, do to the fact he has much better wins, against much better opposition, in a much shorter period of time.

Why would anyone call Rigo p4p #1? When he was still relevant Mayweather wasn't retired.

Rigo isn't more skilled than Loma, you're comparing apples and oranges. Rigo fights super defensively, Lomachenko is offensive slick fighter, his skills are totally different.

And there never has been really a defined p4p criteria, I mean sure you base it on skills/resume but different people place more emphasis on one or the other.

rigo is 100% more skilled than lomachenko whether you want to believe it or not, at his best his technique is better he's slicker better defensively just a much better pure boxer than loma, let's not forget loma lost to salido, if he was that skilled he surely should have dealt with it, fanboys are clueless in boxing

and yeh before this p4p was based of resume and skills, now after loma has come along alot of these fanboys have been exposed, there's a massive agenda in boxing clearly

Why would he need to avenge his loss to Salido? Salido hasn't won a match in 2 years. Beating him makes him look worse than anything else. Over at the scene his stats are literally insane. He's more active than any of the best defensive fighters and still gets hits less than any of them! He even takes less punches than the defensive master Rigondeaux. Loma's skill is easily p4p #1, his resume will reflect that if he can take out Manny at 135. Or if he claims some quality scalps in the 130-135 weight division. He could very well be #1 by the end of 2017 if the other p4p players don't fight meaningful opposition.

    Huh?

If he can take out Manny at a division Manny hasn't fought at in over 8 years???
Manny hasn't fought at 140 in approaching 8 years now.
Put down the crazy pills, Lomachenko vs. Manny is silly talk. It should not happen.

Idk why resumes are so important to some for p4p ratings when fighters can fight only who they can fight

Losses are obviously huge as are how one wins. take the Ward vs kovalev fight, ward was rewarded (yes REwarded) the win but he looked very bad in my eyes, Kovalev looked bad to me too.

Obviously I take in to account they were fighting each other which makes it tougher to look good. problem is, when both fighters were fresh Kovalev proved beyond any reasonable doubt he was far superior in all facets in the ring.

Ward proved he was far superior in their conditioning , hugely important but that's really a huge flaw in Kovalev and not anything great in ward. at the very top I expect every fighter to be in ridiculously great condition , able to fight 12 harder rounds than they had to.

Ward had to fight through much more than Kovalev , he was able to dig much deeper but still at best fought back to a evenish fight over the 2nd half.

I moved both backwards on my p4p, they are both outside my top 5,ward was never inside my top 5, he didn't look the part in beating froch and Kessler which only Kessler had ever been in my top 25 fighters. froch never showed me anything that made me think he belonged with the elite fighters because he's never been close to elite.

Ward is only elite to me because he simply refuses to lose and somehow has been successful in all fights, go figure.

Loma having as much trouble with salido as he did and still has NOT had a rematch that has paralyzed him with me. the ONLY meaningful fight he should has been totally obsessed with is destroying salido, until then I can't get past that huge fail
