i think rigo could be finished he has looked flat in he's last two fights and is approaching 37 with terrible inactivity

how many bantemweights performed well at 37+?

True, the casual above me thinks loma doesn't need to avenge the salido loss, I just don't understand how u can have him p4p when he lost to salido and clearly lost, even hbo had salido winning and their bias for him is crazy, so much politics racism fanboyism and favoritism in boxing today it's actually hard to follow now, the less you know the more you enjoy

none of them are rigo tho, and tbh rigo should focus on 118 and 122, no way should he ever fight at 126, i find it disgusting with these casuals, imagine if rigo went down to 118 which he can make, and loma went up again to 135, that would be 5 weight classes, and people act like rigo needs that fight, it's crazy, let's see loma in there with guys his size like gamboa

Thank you. Myself and the others so fortunate to read this absolute gem of a post probably needed this head shake and face palm.

as much as i disagree with this whole loma thing right now, not in a million years is roman gonzalez anywhere near lomachenko's level, in anyway, he has two losses vs estrada and caudras, and is a come forward fighter one dimensional he overwhelms you, he can be outboxed and is in a very very weak division

    Resume is everything.

Otherwise you end up anointing a complete professional novice as one of the GOATS, believe he deserves a title shot in his second fight, and then the same guy you once thought was one of the GOATS based on your perception of training videos and one other fight gets bullied around and loses in his second fight... against a faded aged opponent.

    Ha!

Not sure which of the underlined views you have is the most absurd!

    I will say no more.

not going to disagree here that is true, but if lomachenko was all that he wouldn't have lost to salido that's the difference between him and rigondeaux, rigo is a pure boxer technically better and no way would he have lost to salido if he was a featherweight,

but u have to understand tho wsb and amateur records count as resume to, the best amateurs are 90% of time the best pros

Lomo will easily beat Salido in a rematch and get no credit for it IMO
The kid is more graceful in the ring than any other boxer out there today
He is not #1 in my book yet but if he keeps on facing the best and winning with ease he will be by the end of 2017 if not sooner.

I want to see the Salido rematch because most great boxers to average defeats or hell even close fights; however, Lomo will catch slack for beating an old and broken fighter in Salido by the guys who just hate on this kid because he is that DAMN GOOD

i was actually quiey vocal when people were suggesting rigo move up to 126 to face walters, i mean rigo makes 122 zero problems and would be outweighed by 20 pounds on fight night by walters. rigo could fight at 118 but tbh at this stage he needs to stop he's all talk and no action approach , he is doing nothing right now

lomachenko would ruin gamboa now but it would be a fun fight

nah gamboa would beat loma, but rigo what happened to the flroes fight, did they move it to the cotto undercard? that's a good match up, imo rigo vs loma is absolutely absurd and ridiculous

in fairness it was he's second fight. i seem to remember rigo struggling badly and being dropped against ricardo cordoba a guy bernard dunne of all people knocked out

i think you are the only person in the world who thinks gamboa would beat lomachenko.

no fight lined up for rigo, maybe we might see a jazza rematch in 2017 if we are lucky

then you must have a very very selective and delusional mind, rigo beat cordoba easy by 5 rounds, even watch hbo's breakdown who hate rigo had it 5 for rigo, don't be stupid and don't be a hater, salido beat loma and salido has 10 losses, come back when he avenges that loss
