I see the crack heads are once again running wild...

How in the hell is Lomachenko even considered P4P top 10 when he has the loss to Salido?

    Exactly HOW does that work?

And Salido didn't make weight... not by accident, by design. It's still a loss, because that's what it says on Loma's resume but there is mitigation for it. It has been reported, Salido was close to welterweight when he stepped in the ring that night. Most boxers would have pulled out of a world title fight if their opponent had so dramatically failed to make weight but Loma backed his skills to make the difference. Loma threw less punches but landed more and Salido persistently threw low blows. No sensible conclusions can be drawn from this fight, but it's a loss he does need to avenge. And it would be an easy night's work second time round.

I take your point. But when you start to work on a top ten list, by the time you get to eight, nine, ten the drop in quality is such that Loma deserves at least be in the conversation.

he was 147 when he stepped in the ring he was within a hair of being a light middleweight., again id like to see him avenge the loss but it will be aseriously easy night

i also dont think salido wants the fight, he cheated on the scales in the first place because he didn't think he would win fairly so i'm not confident he would take the rematch

Might take it for a pay day? I'm assuming Loma fights will start to attract more money from now on...

gamboa has called him out, and has asked arum for the fight, called him out numerous times now and loma has even responded it sounds like your extremely biased for loma, look at ortiz, anyone who calls him out gets the fight same thing should happen here,

salido just has the style that gives loma problems

dude ur talking about gamboa has no chance, then your saying gamboa hasn't actually called him out or wants the fight, your now talking about pricing out, you have made tonnes of excuses already about the salido fight,

what are you talking about? if you want some respect make some good posts simple as that, i can't take some of those posts serious sorry

The Salido fight was an absolute disgrace. How anyone can defend that cheat in that bout is beyond me. He's now pricing himself out of a rematch because he doesn't want the hiding everybody knows he'd get.

That welcome to the pros bull**** he was spouting don't cut it with me. He's a cheat. Simple as.

Also if Loma was a black American half of his detractors would be swinging from his junk like their lives depended on it whilst some of his fans would start slating him for a number of farcical reasons.

If race is a factor for you when looking at a fighter then you need to sort your ****ing life out as that is some seriously pathetic ****.

Andre ward uses what you'd call illegal moves, ie lots of clinches and holding, mayweather also and uses alot of elbows, those are against the rules i never hear anyone call them cheats, if loma was all that he would have beat salido that's the truth

You should hang your head in shame for this comment alone. Yeah, he got a couple of close decisions in his favour. So what? This is boxing, it happens. But to call a fighter with some of the finest footwork in modern boxing 'one-dimensional'... well that's just so staggeringly stupid it beggars belief. And then you say he's in a weak division, conveniently side-stepping the fact he's a four weight champion. Were they all weak divisions then?

Finally, when someone disagrees with you, instead of having the depth of knowledge to respond, why do you always say that 'they don't know anything about boxing'? Do you really think you have a higher appreciation of the sport beyond the reach of anyone else here? Newsflash for you: you don't.

Psychology identifies in you classic 'Narcissism' which encompasses characteristics where the subject regularly displays 'a grandiose view of one's own talents and a craving for admiration'. There's something not quite right about you. In fact your profile name should be: 'SomethingNotQuiteRight11'
