Berchlet doesn't want anything with Loma. What can Loma do if Berchlet would rather fight someone else? Actually, none of the other 130lbs champions are looking for Loma to unify. They are happy just the way they are.

As for Salido at this point, it means nothing now. Loma got better and Salido just retired and came back again.

I don’t think Berchelt wants that work? Immediately after Loma dispatched of Rigo, Miguel gave up his mandatory and moved on to easier roads. But you’re right....he’s really the only boxer at 130 worth something for Loma. It looks like no one at 130 are eager to fight Loma....maybe at 135 Easter would agree to a Loma fight. He seems willing to fight anyone even though he has shown he’s very beatable

Someone seems to not wanna see Loma avenge that one ‘loss’ :) You won’t have that Salido card to pull anymore will you?

“Salido shot to pieces now doe.”

Meh.. Who cares. karma is a *****. Salido’s old sleazy ass can pay for the crap he pulled in the first fight. And it will be a joy to witness.

He gave up his mandatory and moved on to fight Magali? Some light touch who got him out of the Loma conversation for a while. He was asked right before the Loma/Rigo fight who he thought would win and whether or not he wanted to face the winner and he answered yes, but did not look as though he wanted that fight. He said he thought Rigo would beat Loma and he was in the running to face Loma before Rigo was secured. He could have kept his mandatory and waited it out to fight Loma next but decided to fight Magali? He’s not looking to fight Loma.

That’s always a good option if the real opposition at 130 are reluctant to step up. Salido wouldn’t do much for his status but it would be a way for Loma to extract a bit of revenge by beating Salido who got past him by the skin of his teeth a few years back. Salido was almost stopped which most people tend to forget. Orlando was dominated down the stretch in the championship rounds but he had managed to build up a big enough lead that allowed him to win if he could just stay on his feet and he did.

Berchelt is not scared of Loma

    LoL

Nobody is really scared of Loma stop with that narrative

Its a lot like fighting Floyd. Yes you most likely get your head boxed off, but Loma wont KO you. Loma couldn't drop Rigo he won't hurt Berchelt

    Emberass? Probably

Everyone, including Berchelt, is terrified of Lomachenko. Thats why Berchelt is fighting some bum i've literally never ever heard of.

The only thing worse than being knocked cold is being utterly undressed in the ring in front of millions with your wife, friends, family, kids all watching on TV. Made to look a fool....and that's why they all quit on their stools.

Get ready for Salido to be announced. Not a bad fight really, avenging a loss is great for marketability (for better or worse). As long as Pacquiao, Linares or Berchelt comes after that , it's all gravy.

Not afraid....just not eager to take a risk losing when the monetary gain is minimal.

The difference between Loma and Floyd is people were willing to risk losing to Floyd because they would be getting a career high payday for their efforts.

Facing Loma at this stage of his career is a lose/lose situation....the probability of winning is low and if you have a title, undefeated record or both...that’s a lot to risk for a 6 figure payday.

There are easier options that they feel aren’t as risky and pay them about the same. Loma is in a position the Rigo was in at 122....being too good for their own good and not having enough clout to be worth the risk for big names

I would like to see Lomachenko fight Salido, then the other champions at 130, after that he can move up if needed...............
