Bob going to have to make something happen

I know Crolla & Commey are mandatory & unifying fights, thats solid

But neither pushes the needle much... He needs a big fight

    A fight against...

    Mikey
    Tank
    Teofimo

All would have the boxing world BUZZING

Loma is a warrior he will fight anyone

Just Bob has to play ball...

    Pacquiao @ 140!!!

Pacquiao has a 2 fight deal with PBC... After the next, he'd be free to fight Loma.

Out of those realistically possible fights, Lopez is the most logical one. They could do it in December this year. The problem is Loma wants to fight only champions. TR and Teofimo were talking about becoming the WBC champion, but to do that and be ready to fight Lomachenko by December would be quite a feat. Well, not that it's impossible, though. Lopez is top5, and if Mikey vacates, with the TR support they could achieve that.

The second big fight I see is Miguel Berchelt. That one is also out of the unification logic, but, if they are desperate for a big fight, they can do that (now when Berchelt is working with TR).

Bob won’t let his prospect Lopez near Loma.
Floyd won’t let his prospect Davis near Loma.
And Mikey is flat out ducking Loma because he knows Loma will embarrass him.

By the end of the year Loma will have all the belts at 135. It’s the best that can be done unless Mikey finds his balls.

You mean "Mikey wouldn't last 8 rounds with Loma".

Do you realize how hard it is to slice 5 kilograms away of your weight after you have all those muscles grown ? This is not Christian Bale dieting to play boxing character.

Sure, maybe Mikey can do it, but he'll be obviously drained. Loma is going to outbox him just like Sugar Ray did it against Duran.

its never going to happen. what IS going to happen, within the next year, is both fighters will have fights against fighters that will put their respective abilities in perspective, and it will become apparent how a fight that could have happened in 2018, would have gone, and how a fight at 140, for example, will turn out.

Unfortunately, we can almost forget about a Loma vs. Mikey fight... :ohno
If Garcia loses to Spence, he will move down, but to 140 (not to 135). If he beats Spence somehow  he will stay at the welterweight.

About Lopez, I don't mind seeing him fighting Loma as WBC champion in a scenario that Mikey doesn't come back to 135 lbs. But is it really possible for him to jump to title eliminator seat bypassing three other boxers ahead of him ? One of them is another young prospect American boxer who is also rated highly in other organizations, Devin Haney.

From all potential fights, personally I want Loma to fight Tank Davis the most. This fight would serve as 'belated' title unification for number one in 130 for Loma. And not only that, this is a battle against Mayweather's camp as Tank is currently FMJ's prized and most beloved protege.

Loma has charted his course. He is trying to unify a division. I have no problem with Commey, Crolla he has no choice about & Lopez is doable. All roads lead to undisputed...

Fact is there is NO ONE around at 130/35 who would beat him right now anyway, only legit threat just moved to WW so that's a goner! Davis? Nah.. He's a carefully matched Floyd puppet! Berchelt? Don't kid yourself... Machado? LOL He just lost.. Easter? No, I don't even think he beat Commey... Luke? No.

    It is what it is.

The big fights are coming. If Loma can get a grasp on the LW division and unify it, he will get the big fights he really desires.
