Just watched the face off again. They're definitely fashion eyewear. His eyes don't have that distorted look at prescription lenses impart.

I must admit I’d probably need a solid pair of glasses to even notice those two half pints walking down the street myself LMAO. Still this should be a little man fight for the ages. I’d rate this up there with Gomez/Sanchez ramifications.

 

Larry Holmes has poor vision. Didn't hurt his career. If a boxer is very Far sighted ( has trouble seeing things up close ) I'd imagine it can be an issue, but these days with the laser surgery, few have issues seeing well enough.

 

They are decorative spectacles with a purpose of making him falsely look like a puny nerd who's about to get a beating.
